Yeah Kisame has enough power to rival a jinjuriki and yes he's mostly a water user but he ain't stupid and tbh i always though itachi respected his skills. plus with the samehada he can take anyones chakra and is defiantly skilled enough to take on several opponents. If he can take on some one as strong as killer bee he would be pretty devastating to other shin obi who are way weaker.

Fairly good feats in Boruto. Clashed with and dispersed Koji's Rasengan and could also intercept and block Hidari's Chidori.

Not only can he be trusted, he's a genius and a battle strategist. If I have someone like that at my side, then I have an edge in terms of information gathering, which is extremely important for a ninja.

I could understand him not being a strong fighter, but if I'm a Hokage, nine times out of ten I can hold my own in a fight against most Jonin-level ninja anyway.
