Summary of the arc.
The Boruto School Trip Arc (Episodes 25-32 of the anime) is an anime-original arc where the Ninja Academy students from Konoha, including Boruto, Sarada, and Mitsuki, take a field trip to the Hidden Mist Village (Kirigakure) in the Land of Water.
Here is a summary of the arc:
Modernization and Tension: The students discover that Kirigakure has undergone significant modernization, contrasting sharply with its infamous past as the "Bloody Mist Village." However, beneath the surface of peace and prosperity, tensions remain.
Kagura and the New Swordsmen: The class is guided by Kagura Karatachi, a kind and conflicted young ninja and protégé of the current Mizukage, Chojuro, and grandson of the Fourth Mizukage and former Three Tails (Isobu) Jinchuriki, Yagura Karatachi. The main conflict arises from a rogue group calling themselves the New Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, led by Shizuma Hoshigaki. They resent the village's current peaceful state and wish to restore the violent "Bloody Mist" era, stealing the legendary Seven Swords of the Mist.
Conflict and Resolution: Kagura is targeted and manipulated by Shizuma, who appeals to Kagura's dark family history and latent bloodlust. Boruto and his friends intervene, ultimately having to fight the rogue group. The climax involves Boruto, Sarada, and Mitsuki working alongside Kagura and Mizukage Chojuro to defeat the New Seven Swordsmen and foil their coup attempt.
Themes: The arc explores themes of inherited past vs. creating a new future, and the difficulty of maintaining peace when some people romanticize a violent history. It highlights the growing bonds and teamwork of the Konoha Academy students, especially between Boruto and Kagura, and shows Sarada utilizing her Sharingan in combat.
Outcome: The conflict is resolved, the New Seven Swordsmen are defeated and captured, and Kagura recommits himself to the village's new peaceful path. The school trip ends, having strengthened the ties between the Hidden Leaf and the Hidden Mist villages.

(Besides Kaguya)
We have started the Boruto Era.
For anyone who doesn't know who Boruto is here is a breakdown of his character.
Family: He is the son of the legendary ninja Naruto Uzumaki and Hinata Uzumaki. He also has a younger sister, Himawari.
Personality: Unlike his father, who grew up as an orphan and an outcast, Boruto was raised in a peaceful era with a loving family. As a result, he can be a bit mischievous and initially resents his father's position as Hokage, which he feels causes Naruto to neglect his family. However, he is also a natural prodigy who is intelligent, crafty, and learns new techniques quickly.
Goals: He initially wants to find his own path as a shinobi, separate from his father's legacy, and he is mentored by his father's best friend and rival, Sasuke Uchiha. He ultimately decides he wants to become a ninja who supports the Hokage from the shadows, similar to Sasuke.
Key Abilities: Boruto possesses a number of unique and powerful abilities, including a mysterious eye power called the "Jogan" and a mark on his hand known as the "Karma," which is a central element of the series' plot. He is also a skilled fighter who uses a variety of jutsus and is a master of techniques like the Shadow Clone Jutsu, which he uses with more strategic finesse than his father.

Summary of the arc.
The Academy Entrance Arc is the first major arc of the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations anime, setting the stage for the new era of ninjas. While the manga jumps straight into the Chunin Exams arc, the anime uses this initial story to establish the world, introduce the new generation of characters, and explore Boruto's initial struggles.
Plot
The arc begins by introducing Boruto Uzumaki, the son of the Seventh Hokage, Naruto. Unlike his father, Boruto is a prodigy who struggles with a sense of entitlement and resentment towards Naruto for being too busy with his Hokage duties to spend time with his family. The arc focuses on his first days at the Ninja Academy and his attempts to get attention from his busy father.
A mysterious phenomenon, known as the "Ghost," starts to affect people in the village, causing them to be possessed by a dark chakra that makes them lose control and lash out. Boruto, who has an unusual eye ability called the Jōgan, is one of the few people who can see this dark chakra. He and his classmates, including Sarada Uchiha and Mitsuki, investigate the occurrences and try to stop them.
The mystery behind the "Ghost" ultimately leads to Sumire Kakei, the class representative. It is revealed that she is the daughter of a loyal follower of Danzō Shimura and is the one releasing the dark chakra, which is actually a creature known as Nue. Sumire was brainwashed by her father's ideals to destroy the Hidden Leaf Village as an act of revenge.
In a climactic confrontation, Boruto, with the help of Mitsuki, confronts Sumire and stops her from unleashing Nue on the village. Boruto is able to connect with her, showing empathy and convincing her that she doesn't have to follow a path of revenge. The arc concludes with Sumire being pardoned and Boruto's classmates beginning to recognize him not just as the Hokage's son, but as a shinobi in his own right.
Key Characters Introduced
Boruto Uzumaki: The main protagonist, a talented shinobi who feels overshadowed by his father's legacy.
Sarada Uchiha: The daughter of Sasuke and Sakura, an ambitious kunoichi who dreams of becoming the next Hokage.
Mitsuki: The mysterious and calm son of Orochimaru.
Sumire Kakei: The class representative and the central antagonist of the arc, who struggles with a dark family legacy.
Shino Aburame: Their new homeroom teacher at the Academy.
Significance
The Academy Entrance Arc is crucial for establishing the new cast and their motivations. It highlights the vast difference between Boruto's generation and Naruto's—one born into a time of peace and technological advancement versus one born during a time of constant war. It also introduces Boruto's unique eye ability, the Jōgan, which is a major plot point for the rest of the series. The arc successfully lays the groundwork for the relationships and rivalries that define the rest of Boruto's story.
