Summary of the arc.

For anyone who doesn't know who Boruto is here is a breakdown of his character.
Family: He is the son of the legendary ninja Naruto Uzumaki and Hinata Uzumaki. He also has a younger sister, Himawari.
Personality: Unlike his father, who grew up as an orphan and an outcast, Boruto was raised in a peaceful era with a loving family. As a result, he can be a bit mischievous and initially resents his father's position as Hokage, which he feels causes Naruto to neglect his family. However, he is also a natural prodigy who is intelligent, crafty, and learns new techniques quickly.
Goals: He initially wants to find his own path as a shinobi, separate from his father's legacy, and he is mentored by his father's best friend and rival, Sasuke Uchiha. He ultimately decides he wants to become a ninja who supports the Hokage from the shadows, similar to Sasuke.
Key Abilities: Boruto possesses a number of unique and powerful abilities, including a mysterious eye power called the "Jogan" and a mark on his hand known as the "Karma," which is a central element of the series' plot. He is also a skilled fighter who uses a variety of jutsus and is a master of techniques like the Shadow Clone Jutsu, which he uses with more strategic finesse than his father.

Plot

Boruto, who has an unusual eye ability called the Jōgan, is one of the few people who can see this dark chakra. He and his classmates, including Sarada Uchiha and Mitsuki, investigate the occurrences and try to stop them.
The mystery behind the "Ghost" ultimately leads to Sumire Kakei, the class representative. It is revealed that she is the daughter of a loyal follower of Danzō Shimura and is the one releasing the dark chakra, which is actually a creature known as Nue. Sumire was brainwashed by her father's ideals to destroy the Hidden Leaf Village as an act of revenge.
In a climactic confrontation, Boruto, with the help of Mitsuki, confronts Sumire and stops her from unleashing Nue on the village. Boruto is able to connect with her, showing empathy and convincing her that she doesn't have to follow a path of revenge. The arc concludes with Sumire being pardoned and Boruto's classmates beginning to recognize him not just as the Hokage's son, but as a shinobi in his own right.
