Could someone please explain to me why Kakuzu is perceived as a weak shinobi? I see lots of negative opinions against him, but to me, he seems exceptionally strong and lost merely because the plot needed it.
He went toe to toe with Kakashi and even managed to overpower him in terms of taijutsu. His masks hold power capable of leveling entire forests of trees. His masks also give him the ability to resurrect from the dead. He seems like a genuinely scary opponent, and there’s no telling that four masks is his limit. His extensive use of taijutsu and doton, coupled with the rest of his masks really just continues to add upon his power level.
Why then is he treated like fodder?
