During the retsuden novels kakashi invented more Jutsu. He invented a light speed fire style, purple lightning that is meant to replace lightning blade and he invented earth styles so powerful they cover entire villages and he can crystallize them to make them stronger. Losing his sharingan actually made his chakra reserves increase, now he has more massive amounts of chakra than he use to (the sharingan drain is so massive even Itachi and shisui would deactivate it just to spar but kakashi never could deactivate it) kakashi still remembers the thousands of Jutsu he copied over the years. He even stated he's stronger than he was during the war arc with one sharingan. And back then he was already fighting Multiple V2 Jinchuriki making him way above sanin level. Not to mention he could match kashin Koji who fought jigen. Kakashi is no joke. Conclusion Kakashi is even stronger with no sharingan than he was during the war with one sharingan. Kakashi is a master of all five chakra natures and proclaimed he is significantly more powerful than he was during the 4th great ninja war with one sharingan. Kakashi continued to train. His Taijutsu is so good he knocked out base rock Lee in pure Taijutsu and could predict his movements without the sharingan. After He had lost the Sharingan he couldn’t use Lightning Blade anymore but had invented many more powerful jutsu to replace it. And after losing the Sharingan his chakra reserves had “grown by a magnitude”. Kakashi is strong enough to make an earth style wall large enough to encircle an entire village and hold it for 2 days which requires enormous amount of chakra. The earth style mud wall is so powerful kakashi can crystallize it to better its defense. Kakashi also invented a Jutsu called Purple lightning which is a replacement for the Lightning Blade. He also invented a Fire Style Mist Jutsu that shoots a fire phoenix bird that moves at Light Speed. Which is a jutsu strong enough to rival a tool invented by the Sage of six paths. Kakashi is actually way more powerful after losing his sharingan eye.

Ok, why is it that sometimes the chidori/lightning blade are shown covering the users hand, but is also shown being in the palm of the users hand?

Considering Lightning chakra has a focus on piercing power, a lightning release Rasengan should essentially be a drill in the palm of the hand.

Vanishing Rasengan makes no damn sense. Lightning release was never shown as something that can be invisible. The target doesnt seem to be electrocuted. Why does adding lightning chakra to Rasengan give it no lightning properties?
