Summary of the arc.
The Last: Naruto the Movie is a canonical film that takes place two years after the end of the Fourth Shinobi World War. It's a significant "arc" because it directly addresses a major gap in the manga's timeline: how Naruto and Hinata fall in love and get together.
Main Plot Summary
The story is set in a peaceful era, but the tranquility is shattered when the moon begins to descend toward Earth. The culprit is Toneri Ōtsutsuki, a descendant of Hamura Ōtsutsuki (the Sage of Six Paths' twin brother), who believes humanity has misused chakra and is a failure. His plan is to destroy the world and create a new, perfect one.
To accomplish his goal, Toneri seeks the Byakugan of the Hyūga clan, specifically the "Byakugan Princess," who he believes is Hinata. He attacks Konoha and, in the chaos, kidnaps Hinata's younger sister, Hanabi.
Naruto, Hinata, Sakura, Sai, and Shikamaru are sent on a mission to rescue Hanabi and stop the moon's descent. During their journey, Naruto is forced to confront his feelings for Hinata. He sees her memories through a genjutsu, realizing how much she has admired and loved him from afar for years, even when he was an ostracized outcast. This revelation is a major turning point for Naruto, who has been incredibly dense about romantic love throughout the series.
The team makes it to Toneri's castle on the moon. Hinata, in a selfless act, pretends to accept Toneri's marriage proposal to get close to him and rescue Hanabi, breaking Naruto's heart in the process. However, Naruto and the rest of the team pursue her.
The climax of the film is a powerful battle on the moon's surface. Naruto, fueled by his newfound love for Hinata, confronts and defeats Toneri in a final showdown. After the battle, Hinata reclaims her sister's eyes and she and Naruto confess their feelings for each other.
Significance
Relationship Development: The movie's primary purpose is to establish the romantic relationship between Naruto and Hinata. It provides the crucial context that was missing in the manga's epilogue, showing how their bond grew from friendship and unrequited love to a mutual relationship.
Character Evolution: The film shows a more mature Naruto, who is no longer just focused on proving himself but is now a beloved hero with a new depth of emotion. It's the final step in his journey from a lonely orphan to a man who finds and accepts love.
World-Building: It introduces the direct descendants of Hamura Ōtsutsuki, adding a new layer to the lore of the Otsutsuki clan and the origin of the Hyūga clan's Byakugan.
Bridge to Boruto: The movie is a direct bridge to the Boruto series, ending with Naruto and Hinata's wedding and showing their lives with their children, Boruto and Himawari. This sets the stage for the next generation's story.

Summary of the arc
Shikamaru Hiden: A Cloud Drifting in Silent Darkness is a light novel written by Takashi Yano and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto. Taking place two years after the Fourth Great Ninja War, the story follows Shikamaru Nara, who worked as a key advisor to both the Sixth and Seventh Hokage, Kakashi Hatake and Naruto Uzumaki, and is now acting as Eighth Hokage.
Plot Summary
The novel begins with Shikamaru feeling overwhelmed by his new responsibilities, reflecting on his desire for a simple, lazy life. His burden is exacerbated by a mysterious situation in which ninja from various villages are disappearing. When Konoha's own Sai is among the missing, Kakashi dispatches Shikamaru on an S-rank mission to infiltrate the Land of Silence and assassinate its leader, a man named Gengo.
Shikamaru, accompanied by two Anbu, Ro and Soku, arrives in the Land of Silence and discovers it's a utopian-like country that welcomes rogue and missing-nin. The Land of Silence's leader, Gengo, possesses a powerful genjutsu capable of manipulating people's minds, convincing them to abandon their shinobi ways and live in peace under his rule. Shikamaru realizes that Gengo isn't just a political threat but a master manipulator who's been "rescuing" ninja from the burdens of their past.
As Shikamaru struggles with the moral complexities of his mission, he encounters his teammates Ino and Choji, along with Temari, who have come to the Land of Silence to rescue him. Together, they confront Gengo, and the climactic battle becomes a mental one. Gengo's genjutsu forces Shikamaru to question his path and his loyalty to the shinobi world. He considers Gengo's offer of a life without responsibility and war, which is what he had always craved. However, through the support of his friends and his love for Temari, Shikamaru breaks free from the genjutsu.
After Gengo's defeat, Shikamaru, now sure of his purpose, asks Temari on a date, signifying his acceptance of his new life and its responsibilities, including a future with her. The novel concludes with Shikamaru returning to Konoha, having fulfilled his mission and found a new sense of resolve. He no longer sees his responsibilities as a "drag" but as something worth protecting.
Themes
Responsibility and Adulthood: The central theme of the novel is Shikamaru's transition from a lazy, apathetic genius to a responsible adult. He must confront his desire for a simple life and accept the heavy burden that comes with being an integral part of the Shinobi Union and Konoha's government.
The Meaning of Being a Shinobi: The novel explores the philosophical question of what it means to be a ninja in a world of peace. Gengo's ideology challenges the traditional role of shinobi, forcing Shikamaru to re-evaluate his own identity and the sacrifices he has made.
Love and Connection: Temari's role is crucial as she represents the personal connection that pulls Shikamaru back from Gengo's genjutsu. His love for her and the bonds he shares with his friends and family give him a reason to fight for the future, rather than giving up for a false sense of peace.

The Akatsuki Suppression Mission Arc, also known as the Hidan and Kakuzu Arc, is a pivotal storyline in Naruto Shippuden that showcases the true danger of the Akatsuki and marks a significant turning point for several key characters. It's a tale of grief, revenge, and strategic genius, primarily centered on Shikamaru Nara and his team.
Akatsuki's Deadly Duo: Hidan and Kakuzu
The arc introduces two of the most unique and formidable members of the Akatsuki:
Hidan is an unhinged, foul-mouthed zealot and a follower of the cult of Jashin. He wields a triple-bladed scythe and possesses the unique ability of immortality. Once he gets a taste of his opponent's blood, he can link their pain to his own. Any injury he inflicts upon himself is instantly transferred to the person whose blood he consumed. He believes in carnage and destruction as a form of worship to his god.
Kakuzu is Hidan's stoic and logical partner, obsessed with money and bounties. His unique ability comes from his multiple hearts, each one collected from a powerful ninja he has defeated. He has a total of five hearts, which not only grant him incredible durability but also allow him to use multiple elemental chakra natures (Fire, Wind, Lightning, Earth, and Water) at once. Each heart can operate as a separate entity, capable of attacking on its own.
The First Encounter: A Tragic Loss
The arc begins with the Hidden Leaf Village sending out several teams to track down and neutralize the Akatsuki's movements. Team Asuma (Asuma, Shikamaru, Choji, and Ino) is the first to engage with Hidan and Kakuzu.
In the ensuing battle, Hidan's immortality proves to be a major obstacle. Asuma, known for his formidable fighting skills, is outsmarted by Shikamaru's analysis. However, a moment of strategic confusion allows Hidan to get a single drop of Asuma’s blood. Hidan then draws a Jashin symbol on the ground, enters his ritual state, and proceeds to impale himself, inflicting a deep, fatal wound on Asuma.
Despite Shikamaru's desperate efforts to sever the link between Hidan and Asuma, the damage is too great. Asuma succumbs to his injuries, his final words a profound message to his students. He tells Shikamaru that he has the qualities of a "king" and a leader, urging him to protect the future of the village. He also has a poignant moment with Choji, whom he encourages to never give up on himself. Asuma’s death is a devastating blow, especially to Shikamaru, who blames himself for the loss.
A New Technique: Naruto's Rasenshuriken
While Shikamaru and his team are dealing with their grief, Naruto Uzumaki is undergoing intense training with Kakashi Hatake and Yamato. The goal is to perfect a new, powerful jutsu by combining his wind chakra nature with the Rasengan. This training is a masterclass in a unique application of the Shadow Clone Jutsu. Naruto creates hundreds of clones, allowing him to speed up the learning process exponentially, as each clone shares its experience with the original after it disperses.
After numerous attempts and failures, Naruto successfully completes the jutsu: the Wind Release: Rasenshuriken. This jutsu is a swirling vortex of wind that, upon contact, can cause massive, irreversible cellular-level damage to an opponent. However, the jutsu is so powerful that it also inflicts similar damage on Naruto's own hand, a major drawback that Kakashi notes will prevent him from using it in a way that doesn’t harm his own body.
The Vengeful Counterattack
Fueled by a desire for revenge, Shikamaru devises a meticulous plan to avenge Asuma. He and his team, along with assistance from Kakashi, corner Hidan and Kakuzu. Shikamaru's strategy is to isolate Hidan from his immortal partner. Using his Shadow Imitation Jutsu, he successfully separates Hidan and lures him into a pre-prepared trap.
The climax of the arc is split into two major confrontations:
Shikamaru vs. Hidan: Shikamaru's battle is a brilliant display of tactical genius. He outsmarts Hidan at every turn, using his intellect to overcome Hidan's immortality. Shikamaru explains how the fight has been a calculated game of chess from the start. He uses a vial of his own blood to trick Hidan into using his ritual, making Hidan believe he has the upper hand. In a final, climactic move, Shikamaru uses a detonated explosive tag to sever Hidan’s head from his body. He then buries the still-living head in a massive pit, ensuring that the immortal villain is permanently neutralized, but not truly dead. He places the lighter Asuma gave him on the mound of dirt as a final act of respect.
The Rest vs. Kakuzu: Kakashi, Choji, and Ino fight against Kakuzu, a powerful foe with multiple elemental attacks and five hearts. Kakashi manages to destroy one of his hearts with his Lightning Blade, but Kakuzu's durability is overwhelming. Just as they are about to be defeated, Naruto arrives, and unleashes the Wind Release: Rasenshuriken. The jutsu shreds Kakuzu's remaining hearts, finally putting an end to the villain's reign of terror and avenging Asuma's death.
The Akatsuki Suppression Mission Arc not only provides a satisfying conclusion to the revenge plot but also serves as a testament to the growth of its characters and a sobering look at the true cost of being a ninja.

Hello guys!
Today (February twenty-fourth) is Yoshino Nara's birthday. She is Shikamaru's mother, Shikaku's wife. We see very little of it her the series, but has a reputation for being a bit strict. Despite this, she loves her family very much. So happy birthday for her!
Did you remember her? Do you know much about her? What do you think about her?
Tell me if you have a birthday soon! Thank you. Have a good day/night and a wonderful life! (:
Hello guys!
Today (on the 15th of February) is Tayuya's birthday, so happy birthday for her. Tayuya is one of the Sound Four. She fight against Shikamaru, when they kidnap Sasuke. She has a flute and Tayuya makes her jutsus with it. She is the only female member in the Sound Four. And she is my personal favorite of them. I think her fight with Shikamaru was realy exciting and good. I think Tayuya was the most intelligent of her team (they were all so crazy, sorry.) I like her flute, her red hair, her fighting style and technique. And Tayuya's final form was the coolest for me. Maybe their fight with Shikamaru wasn't as exciting as the others, but for me, having a female villain really brightened up this part of the series. What do you think?
I think, Tayuya is a realy strong famale charachter especially for her age! Check out the data on Fandom's website. It's incredible how much height and weight it write for Tayuya.
Do you like Tayuya or hate? What do you think about her? Do you think she had a good place in the series, did she spice it up?
Thank you!
Have a good day/night and a wonderful life! And happy Valentine's Day...
