Did itachi and sai’s brother have the same disease?? Does anyone know what the disease is called? They were both coughing up blood before they died so it’s likely they had the same disease

I haven't watched the Boruto anime nor read the manga but I really wanna know. Does he (or his clones) use the Ms abilities? When I say MS abilities, I mean Tsukuyomi, Kotoamatsukami, Amaterasu, and things like that.
