In volume 4 of Boruto, it lists Moegi as having Wood Style on her character profile, and then throughout the rest of Boruto it pretty much disregards this fact and doesn't bring it up once. At least that's the way it was, until Blue Vortex came out and showed that one of the Ten Tails clones is based off Moegi, leading many to speculate that her Ten Tails clone might be able to use Wood Style.

My question to you all, is how do you think she obtained it? Besides her, Hashirama is the only natural user of Wood Style, and all others who have used it have only been able to get access to it through Hashirama's cells, leading most to assume that Hashirama was the first and only person to have Wood Release as a natural Kekkei Genkai, until Moegi came along.

My theory for now is that her clan might be distantly related to the Senju in some way, resulting in Moegi somehow getting the Wood Release Kekkei Genkai passed down to her. It's not too much of a stretch to assume this, since Mukai of the Kohinata clan had one Byakugan in his left eye as a result of his clan separating from the Hyuga generations ago. Same thing with the Uzumaki and Senju clans, they were distant relatives, yet both their members had a penchant for having large chakra reserves and immense vitality.

Maybe Moegi is distantly related to the Uzumaki clan, due to being a redhead, although not as red as an Uzumaki's hair, and since the Uzumaki are distantly related to the Senju, somehow Hashirama's Wood Release gene passed down an manifested in her. It might be a crazy stretch, but since the story isn't telling us anything, it's the best I've got. It would be cool if one of her ancestors was related to Hashirama somehow; What do you all think?

Why didn't Obito use his Wood Release: Cutting Jutsu through his own body during the Fourth Shinobi World War? He used it through the Ten-Tails, and he also grabbed Naruto with some branches on his own, but I think that was it. Without the Ten-Tails, he didn't do some of the crazy things he did when he slaughtered the Bloody Mist ninja.

I'm sure Kishimoto needed him nerfed, but what could be the in-universe reason?

Narutopedia should include the byakugan with the jougan in the kekkei genkai section in boruto uzumakis wiki

Cause in the Kawaki wiki, kawaki doesn’t originally have a dojutsu but thanks to his karma he has isshiki’s unnamed dojutsu ,

Boruto has Momoshiki karma also he has hyuga ancestry which has a potential in awakening it also we saw in the manga and anime that boruto use momoshiki byakugan while being possessed and he himself can use momoshikis byakugan with the help of the pills amado gave to naruto in the scence where boruto vs. code

so I think he should have a byakugan on the kekkei genkai info on boruto wiki

(A little far fetched) he should also have the rinnegan and wood release too

in the Momoshiki wiki he have access in wood release in the novel byakugan and rinnegan in the manga and anime and boruto is the vessel of momoshiki so what gives?

Heck even Moegi has wood release in her wiki yet we didn’t even see it

This is just my headcanon but I think Sakura can use wood release but she only uses it with her seal on because she doesn't have much chakra. Why do I think this makes sense? Because with the random girl named Moegi Kazamatsuri can use it then Sakura sure can flush she has earth and water release and also excellent chakra control and also a name that goes with it so yeah... what do you think?

So I heard people comparing wood release and crystal release but what if we combined them? What if Hashirama had wood release AND crystal release... how OP do you think he would've been

Ok I’ve been watching boruto and I’ve been wondering if Naruto could master wood style. I’ve looked it up and it said that it takes A combination of Earth and Water style for Naruto to use wood style. Due to his New arm and Six paths power. Those are easily obtainable. So Naruto should be able to use wood style right?
