Why didn't Obito use his Wood Release: Cutting Jutsu through his own body during the Fourth Shinobi World War? He used it through the Ten-Tails, and he also grabbed Naruto with some branches on his own, but I think that was it. Without the Ten-Tails, he didn't do some of the crazy things he did when he slaughtered the Bloody Mist ninja.
I'm sure Kishimoto needed him nerfed, but what could be the in-universe reason?
