Kakashi did at least teach something to his team, which is teamwork and chakra control. But he was kinda forced to prioritize Sasuke to help him keep in line. Naruto had Ebisu/Jiraiya. Sakura got no one until she went to Tsunade.
but Jonin senseis are NOT AT ALL OBLIGATED to teach their students anything, especially if their skills differ. Also, they don't always hang out 24/7 and have the time to train them. Compared to Jonins, the Geninn probably have a lot more free time.
Kiba often trained alone with Akamaru. Shino trains alone probably. Kurenai seemed like she prioritized Hinata's well being instead of training her when her father rejected her, but then spent most of her time training with Neji.
Ino-Shika-Cho trained with their fathers because they're the ones who should be teaching them about their jutsus, not Asuma. The most he can probably do is evaluate their formation. But we've seen that Asuma often plays shogi with Shikamaru and he talks to Choji to comfort him instead of training them.
It seems that Team Guy would often spar and train on taijutsu with their sensei, and then learn some wisdom, but that's about it.
Team Kakashi should have been balanced, and they work well at times, but Naruto and Sasuke (mainly Sasuke though) were the main reasons why their team broke, and they were out of anyone's control. I'm pretty sure there was a time when they could have been good, normal, and healthy rivals. But Sasuke's ego and superiority complex got triggered and he was also tempted to put his everything into revenge. Also, them being Indra and Ashura incarnates aren't helping. Both Sakura and Kakashi had an impact on Sasuke when they tried to stop him but they couldn't in the end.
Karma and the Byakugo...I certainly didn't expect that they could have some sort of connection. We're sure that Tsunade invented the jutsu, but maybe it drew inspiration and/or has a connection to something else like how Minato made the Rasengan from the Tailed Beast Ball, or maybe it's just something related to chakra in general.

No, Sasuke wouldn't return to Konoha considering his connection with Tobi. Tobi might attack the village or just snatch Sasuke from their grip and tell him the truth. And he most definitely will not be promoted that easily.
The Amaterasu that Itachi sealed activates if it comes into contact with Obito's Sharingan, which was what happened. Considering that they have the same eye, if Kakashi showed his eyes to Sasuke, he would be burned but will probably use Kamui to remove the flames.
"Kakashi exposed his Kamui to Sasuke, and wouldn't Shisui's eye come out of Naruto which would then make Sasuke protect Konoha?" doesn't make sense and won't happen.
Like what the others said, Shisui's eye will only activate if it comes into contact with Itachi's Mangekyo. If somehow Konoha gets to keep Sasuke, then he wouldn't have transplanted Itachi's eyes to himself, which was what Itachi planned. If Sasuke had Itachi's eyes, activated MS, and saw Naruto when he had the crow in him, then Sasuke would be protecting Konoha.
Even so, I don't think that should be enough to say that Jugo can now or may be able to use Lightning Release. They're probably just for effect and nothing more. Unless we have more definitive proof, I think we should give it any attention.
We already know what elements Jugo can allegedly use, and it's not Lightning Release. We've also seen him use an attack like that, and it's just chakra.
Well, at least he won.
I agree that he shouldn't be taking hits, but he IS more than capable of taking them.
To be honest I didn't mind the way he defeated Delta, it did get the job done. I just hope she's dead. I mean making her absorb Senjutsu chakra and turning her into stone would be a much secure way of beating and killing her, but maybe Naruto didn't do that because they still might be able to go through her thoughts (if it's possible with a dead person) or at lest learn about her body.
Av23 wrote: It seems that Jugo is trying to relieve the villagers of the "curse marks" they have received and in turn he is going on rampage by taking in the energy. Where they got the curse marks from? idk. Maybe the birds? But then who or what is 'controlling' the birds? I'd like to think that Oro, being the way he is, sent out Jugo to investigate and regulate what was happening because it wouldn't be the first time someone's tried to use his research where everything just went south. I'd like to see a relationship build between Jugo and Sarada as well. Maybe she'll use her sharingan to try and control his rampage in the next episode and it'll remind him of his time with Sasuke and he'll calm down.
I'd like to think that this will happen, but there are too many blanks that need to be filled.
So Ohnoki's really dead, huh.
Fonselot wrote: I was expecting that Team 7 would recover their genin rank with some kind of epic adventure, or with some Kakashi intervention with his motto "In the ninja world, those who break the rules are trash, that's true, but those who abandon their comrades are worse than trash"...
Anyway, Ino-Shika-Cho also broke the rules and they were not punished at all...
They did start out from a mission to retrieve them which turned into going alongside them and were able to communicate to people about what they did (Moegi, Shikamaru), so maybe it was something else when it came to them.
Steveo920 wrote: I hate with when different material contradict each other. He is dead in the anime, but alive following these events in the novel
The novel happened before the Muninja Bandits Arc.
The timeline is kinda confusing now. Ohnoki appears in Shikamaru Shinden, but the events of that story happened before and after the Muninja Bandits Arc.
Shikamaru Shinden is a part of the Naruto Shinden novel series, which includes the Family Day novel that we'll see in the next anime episode.
Though the novels in the series aren't arranged in chronological order, meaning IF the Shikamaru Shinden gets an anime adaptation, then Ohnoki being alive can be justified since that story should have happened before he died.
Both the anime and the manga are done with the Versus Momoshiki Arc, so is the anime ahead of the manga or maybe the anime is taking place after the Muninja Bandits Arc but before either the Ao or the Kawaki Arc?

I honestly hope that Naruto is still playing her, otherwise he does get nerded a lot here. If they wanted to showcase how strong Delta is, at least don’t have Naruto use his strongest mode against her. Let him just use SM, or even in base. There was nothing that Naruto did in SPSM in this battle that he couldn’t have done in SM, or even base for that matter.
While he was and probably is still holding back, we don't really know what Naruto is thinking. Aside from trying not to kill her so that information can be extracted out of her, she's still an opponent that he doesn't know about, so he might be being cautious and activated his strongest mode but actually didn't do anything lol. For all we know she could somehow tank his Six Paths Massive Rasenshuriken or whatever (but at the same time, fighting for too long would be bad too).

Oh, and also, i hope they don’t forget that Naruto has sensing abilities as well, including negative emotion sensing, so i hope he in fact sensed Koji being in the village. Although from Naruto’s dialog with Delta, it seems that he didn’t sense him, which again, breakes the lore of his abilities.

If the Yamanaka/the village's sensing patrol or whatever didn't sense Koji, then it's very likely Naruto won't either. Also, they might be evil but they're not going around the village to try and kill as much as they can, so unless that happens or if he interferes with his fight against Delta and gets close enough to him, then I don't think there's a reason for him to sense him.
duh. It's obvious.
But the real question is, where did that eye come from and what is it exactly?
tbh I expected more in this episode since the last one actually made me curious, eager to see the next episode, and all that. But nope.
I expected more from Shikadai, considering the conversation he had with his father. Like seroiusly, they already lost to Kokuyo once but then decided to let Boruto and Sarada separate from them. And his team's performance during their fight was distasteful in my opinion.
The new Ino-Shika-Cho better be much stronger in the future considering what they all went through in this arc. No excuses.
And here we go again with Sarada falling victim to another genjutsu. I can already see the comments that people will make about Sarada because of it. She better have tricked that Kirara girl and made her think that her genjutsu worked on them or something or else I'm going to be pissed.
All of this mess was because of Ohnoki and his stubbornness. The Akuta failed when he demonstrated them in front of Kurotsuchi (where the hell is she now, anyway?). He witnessed Kako completely going against his orders and acted on his own accord. Now Ku just ignores what he said and even knocked him out, and again, disregarded his orders of not inflicting injury or causing death. I thoroughly dislike him now.
Great episode! I was especially impressed with Sarada. Made me like her character even more. Animation and fight scenes were great too. I was disappointed about Inojin. Chocho and Inojin especially should work on their skills more lol
While Ohnoki's intentions aren't exactly evil, it just makes him look like a stubborn and prideful old man who can't handle rejection and still feels obligated to do something despite his age and condition.
There are still a couple of questions left:
How exactly are Akuta created? Does it involve something illegal/immoral/unethical?
Who is this Ku? Is he actually human and is he really 100% working for Ohnoki?
We still don't know how Mitsuki will "aid" them in their plan.
They better give an acceptable reason for Kurotsuchi losing. It's disrespectful.
Now... I wonder what the Konoha kids would do now. Since they chased Mitsuki to Iwa and failed to bring him back, they can't just continue running to Iwa. Shouldn't the best thing be to return and report everything? I know Shikadai said that they might be punished but they would probably be pardoned since they have intel.

Itachisempi wrote: they both SUCK! tenten is useless, and boruto era shino got taken down by school level kids!!! WHY EVEN DEBATE THIS
In Boruto era, these weren't serious feats against Shino. Under Nue's influence, Shino wasn't fighting rationally and wasted his chakra in a blind rampage, plus, according to Naruto, he still subconciously tried to restrain himself against the kids, otherwise they'd be long dead. And during the genin exams, even against SM Mitsuki, Shino still lost only due to his marker being destroyed and still admitted that he could've won if he went on Mitsuki with the killing intent.
@Itachisempi Why are you even here? You're not exactly contributing to this discussion, you're just blatantly yelling out your opinions.
@Ravenlot 27 Shino had confidence that he could kill Mitsuki, who could be the strongest in his class and even has Sage Mode, if he really went for it. I think that should have been a plus for him. He had some impressive feats while under the Nue's influence, but they can't exactly be merited to his skills as he was being controlled.
Now for Tenten vs. Shino, I think Shino would win, but Tenten can definitely hold her own. While she's physically weaker compared to the rest of her team, she probably still has better physical feats than Shino. She can be unpredictable and tricky with her tools, and can even release fire or water with her scrolls. And she isn't exactly stupid. But in the end, I think Shino would ultimately win. He's deceptive, cunning, and intelligent.
Great episode! It was pretty cool to see Karin and Sarada together.
Now I don't really understand Orochimaru's intentions and his mindset in general. It's pretty weird how Naruto was kind of forgiving to him, but based on that Orochimaru should be more of a good guy by now.
Karin outmaneuvering Yamato and the others isn't exactly THAT great of a feat, but it's still pretty good for her. And she definitely isn't the worst ninja. She's excellent even only with her healing and sensory abilities.
Lastly, how are we supposed to believe that Boruto and Sarada could reach the Ryuchi Cave?
Oh, and Kabuto is in Konoha, so he's definitely not the White Snake Sage Orochimaru was talking about.
If you were referring on the anime episodes leading up to Naruto and Hinata's wedding, then no, he isn't actually afraid of bugs. It's just a running gag throughout the arc.
Nothing more, nothing less.
Decent episode...except that most of it is how narcissistic Cho-Cho is. But it turns out that she's actually conscious about her body, or at least to some people.
I don't really like how they just gave her the Butterfly Mode, but at least it just contributes to her fraud lol
Guess I'll just wait for the next episodes then...
