Baryon Mode is pretty much the franchise's version of Ultra Instinct only with a fatal chink. I think that even if Naruto survives this battle, he is gonna be permanently nerfed or thrown on a Tsunade like coma.

I am thinking that the tree on narutoverse that we all know & love was planted by a different pair long before Kaguya & co came along. The question remains of what happened to the Otsutsuki who is supposed to be watching over the divine tree and why didn't the one who sacrificed themselves for this old tree come back? Maybe Kaguya was just sent there to further reinforce the already planted tree and Isshiki was to be the new caretaker. Maybe Kaguya found out the circumstances surrounding this tree(maybe there was a conflict that caused the original pair to both get consumed or maybe this tree has been consuming multiple Otsutsuki for generations and Kaguya had no desire to be another sacrifice, or maybe this particular tree cancelled out the revival aspect of an Otsutsuki making it a perma death). The biggest hinting being Amado revealing that there are variations in the fruit and whose to say there aren't variations on how the tree grow? There is something missing: Why Kaguya turned, which no makes since sense if she is gonna get revived anyway and potentially get to eat from this fruit anyway. The key to this is what is going on with the previous tree pre-Kaguya.
