<p>Maybe it can be more complex than just sharing chakra, perhaps Hagoromo handpicked the gifts he gave to Naruto and Sasuke? </p><p>Remember that Itachi more or less gave Amaterasu and Tsukiyomi to Sasuke even though Mangekyo traits were supposedly unique (are they unique to the individual or to the family unit? It was never clarified). </p><p>Or perhaps the sharing of chakra can activate latent potential, which is why certain gifts remain while others don't (such as the rookies and the kyubi cloak). </p>

<p>I wonder </p><p>if Sasuke shared some of his chakra with Sarada, would that count as taking on Indra's chakra? </p>

<p>Except Momoshiki and Urashiki were on a diet of Divine Fruit pills, which is where Kaguya originally got her Rinne Sharingan. So, direct access to the Divine Fruit has to be a factor. </p><p>Moving on, what confuses me is why Sasuke's Rinnegan sports tomoe and Hagoromo's didn't. It makes me wonder what the difference is. </p><p>Regarding Sarada, however, the question is whether she's actually a reincarnation of Indra. While it's entirely likely, it still remains to be seen. If we're saying that's integral to gaining the Rinnegan (is that the consensus? I'm lost), then if she's not Indra's incarnation, she'd likely be just a Sharingan beneficiary. </p>

<p><i>Hiraishin.</i> Right now getting around quickfanstandinahurry is a big personal topic and I'd love the ability to be just about anywhere in the world in the blink of an eye, with little to no cost and pretty much no limit. </p><p>Without getting into all the OP shit (Sharingan, Rinnegan, Rinne Sharingan), I could also do a lot with kage bunshin. </p>

<p>Why's it so crazy to think normal human chakra doesn't carry all the characteristics of monsters (the biju) and aliens (the Otsutsuki) without direct contact? </p>

<p>I was kind of hoping Mitsuki put Boruto in kind of a lightning-based genjutsu. Ah well. </p><p>Honestly, kind of a forgettable episode. The chibi mud monster drained some of the story's momentum for me. </p>

<p>So if chakra is an essential connection to the spirit and afterlife, maybe it's the case that while the Divine Tree could have been considered an invasive element, perhaps chakra is a naturally (or supernaturally) occurring phenomenon, that the Otsutsuki clan discovered and learned to cultivate? </p><p>In the way <i>we</i> might seem supernatural to any pre-renaissance civilizations in our use of nuclear power, the Otsutsuki managed to detect and harness spiritual power (chakra) and maybe the Divine Tree is a technology for that purpose. </p>

<p>This episode makes me wish this arc wasn't filler, there's so much potential here. </p><p>But Tsuchikage getting pieced up by a rando wtf </p>

<p>It's interesting to think of the Divine Tree as an invasive species, it'd make for a fascinating subplot (though I wonder if it could go anywhere). </p><p>That aside, senjutsu chakra couldn't exist without chakra (as the term itself implies), but senjutsu itself could, surely? I mean, that's basically how Naruto mastered sennin mode--independent of chakra usage, right? </p><p>An AU where the Divine Tree never took root and maybe the Shinobi World sourced it's power directly from nature energy might make for a dope stand-alone story. Though I wonder if they'd ever have become shinobi then. </p><p>Or (in the canon) normal humans that can't mold chakra seeking out and learning the use of nature energy--that could move in some interesting directions. </p>

<p>Something about Ryuchi Cave seems... underwhelming. </p><p>The frogs of Myoboku just seemed like a more interesting concept. </p>
