I personally like these certain types of fillers because it gives more background information on character's that we don't know that deeply about. They add to the character.

I just think that the whole Sasuke and Karin thing doesn't add up literally anywhere throughout the whole series. Sasuke has never shown ANY interest in Karin and for him to have a child with her completely confuses the heck out of me. I do agree that it's just for more suspense she may have glasses but hey lots of people do.
