Progression through battle is one of the themes Boruto inherited from its predecessor if nothing else.

Hinata is very likeable.

The sight of blood is quite alarming which is ideally the reaction you want from your audience when a character is being pummelled to near death.

Does make it feel more dangerous when the injuries look like actual injuries and not like scuff marks like a character just took a tumble down a flight.

She's insufferable in Part 1 but shows promise, is kind of badass at the start of Part 2 but then just becomes insufferable again for the rest of the series with the occasional cool moment.

Yeah it's kinda funny in a mundane way.
