Hey, I was just helping you out; you said "i wonder if there are anymore abilities the Rinne-Sharingan can do" so I chimed in with what info we have so far.

And that fight would be interesting. I think you would need to level the playing field with chakra levels for it to be a fair comparison. If two people with equally high chakra fought -- one person wielding the Rinnegan and one wielding the Rinne-Sharingan -- and they mainly fought using the powers provided by the two dojutsu, I think the one with the Rinnegan would win.

Also, the only user of the Rinne-Sharingan we've seen actually use it's powers was Kaguya, and even she got tired out by spamming it. Even if a Rinnegan user wouldn't be able to overpower a Rinne-Sharingan user if they had equal chakra, the Rinnegan user could win by just outlasting the Rinne-Sharingan user. Unless the Rinne-Sharingan user automatically has Six Paths chakra. So many details need to be fleshed out, but it would be a cool versus match to suggest.

Pretty sure the Rinne Sharingan doesn't have abilities of the Rinnegan, though it does have the abilities of the base Sharingan as well as the Amenominaka (Kaguya's dimension hopping thing) and the ability to cast Infinite Tsukuyomi. Makes it less appealing to me than the Rinnegan, tbh.

Rinnegan for sure. At best, I get Limbo clones to do things for me. At worst, I get to be lazy and drag my phone to my hand with Bansho Tennin... oh, and the ability to sprout extra, customized limbs is handy, if you catch my drift.

Nagato and Itachi don't have a 0% chance, but... Even if Nagato managed to siphon off enough of Madara's chakra to heal himself and Itachi had the Totsuka blade at the ready, Madara wins 99/100 times.

<p>@Littlegen Wasn't it literally stated that Hagoromo spread chakra among people using Ninshu? We don't know much about what Ninshu actually is, but, apparently(I think Kurama said this), it's similar to what Naruto did with Kurama's chakra in the war when he gave everyone chakra cloaks. It's something to note that, even after they were drained, the chakra he gave them didn't fully vanish, instead falling dormant and able to be rekindled. If they didn't already have chakra of their own, the results probably would've been something similar to what Hagoromo did when initially giving humanity chakra. </p>

Madara and Obito/Tobi's possible failed use of the Rinnegan

<p>So, from his complete control of the Yondaime Mizukage Yagura, we know that Obito has some pretty powerful genjutsu. Madara also planned pretty far ahead, and we all know how stupidly OP he was. With all that said... why didn't Madara and Obito simply plan to revive Madara earlier? </p><p>Like, before the series. </p><p>This series literally didn't need to happen, and I'm not talking about Minato using sage mode to just fucking end Obito with that one Rasengan. Nah, I think the villains could've won even earlier than that. </p><p>Obito could take control of someone with a reasonably large amount of chakra - hell, he could've even used Yagura for this - and implanted the Rinnegan into them. Use the genjutsu to force them to cast the Rinne Tensei and revive Madara. All dojutsu can be transplanted, even if a person shouldn't have those eyes, as seen with Nagato himself, Aoi, and Kakashi. Sure, they wouldn't live long because of the apparent stress the Rinnegan in particular puts on a wielder(something Obito confirmed by only being able to use one and Madara confirmed when he explained why he chose Nagato) but they'd only need to cast one jutsu - a jutsu that would kill them anyway. Since the Rinnegan has no confirmed resistance to genjutsu, there'd be no problem forcing them to once control was established. </p><p>With a now young, Rinnegan-wielding, Mokuton-enhanced Madara and Kamui-spamming Obito around(who could just pop in and rip out Kakashi's other eye for excessive levels of Kamui-spamming)... well, who was gonna stop them? I don't see any reason this didn't happen. Is this just an oversight on Kishi's part? Or maybe Madara isn't such a master tactician after all... </p>

<p>Ghost is a special kind of dumb, let's move on. If he isn't aware of type advantages, we'll leave him/her to figure it out. When Ghost can show the Raikiri cutting through something "indestructible" that isn't earth-based, we'll believe. Why? Because that'll be a proper feat to back it. </p><p>ANYWAY, we are moving on with the assumption that data books are useful, but the Manga has the final word, yes? </p>

<p>That proves absolutely nothing. An explosion is a wave. Take light, for example. Who knows? I don't. And don't claim you do, because databooks need to have canon proof to back it. </p>

<p>A reincarnation wouldn't really be a jinchuriki. The mechanics behind being reincarnated naturally haven't been flushed out in the series(and I doubt they ever will be), but jinchuriki, by definition, are the people with tailed beasts sealed inside of them. Ashura isn't a tailed beast, ergo Naruto isn't his jinchuriki. Maybe "host" would be a better term. </p>

<p>If they're simply made up of the five, basic nature elements, then why can't someone just make another one? It might just be plot, but I'm hoping there's some actual reason. </p>

<p>I'll assume you mean Sasuke, because Itachi can do so much more. He played Sasuke like a fiddle up until Obito survived Amaterasu, and still had a backup plan in the form of the Kotoamatsukami he implanted in Naruto. He's more than just tactically adept; he's exceptionally insightful and manipulative, even to those he loves. </p>

<p>You seem to be using that as a counter-example of sorts, which doesn't really work. There was a significant difference between Naruto and the other jinchuriki: Naruto had 0 control over Kurama's chakra at that point. As a jinchuriki, whose purpose is to contain and channel the power of their bijuu, he was a bit of a failure... as he was in more than a couple areas, but hey. If the village had invested in him as a weapon - you know, made sure their weapon was actually strong - then... well, let's just say his fight against Neji would've been a lot quicker. Even if they'd just forced him to learn how to use Kurama's power instead of making him strong in his own right, he'd have been a force to be reckoned with. Any of the other jinchuriki would've wrecked Naruto's shit in a legit, 1v1 battle if Jiraiya hadn't stepped in and taught him summoning(and forced him to "learn" how to get some of Kurama's power). And even that wouldn't be enough. </p><p>Be honest, Gamabunta wouldn't be able to beat a bijuu. Gaara's transformation simply had a glaring weak spot. </p>

<p>It's definitely separate, but don't just go by the listings, as they can be wrong. Here's some outright logic for you. </p><p>Remember Pain/Nagato? Once a big bad, now able to be blitzed or just one-shot by Naruto if he tried? Well, he couldn't deal with senjutsu chakra being absorbed because he had no experience balancing the stuff with his own chakra like Naruto did, yet he'd had the Rinnegan for a while. A long while. In short, just having the Rinnegan doesn't give one access to senjutsu. </p>
