<p>One could make the argument that they didn't truly even have the chance to go all out, because Jigen literally speed-blitzed their avatar forms and was so strong that he pretty much disabled them with a single well placed kick. </p><p>They would never have entered their avatar forms had they known he was able to shatter their defenses with simple taijutsu, and would have fought differently if they knew his powers operated at what was essentially a time limit. </p><p>To Naruto and Sasuke, entering their avatar forms was the safest bet as they thought Jigen's Rod Manipulation ability and absorption abilities would be less effective against them while they could spam attacks. </p><p>Had they known about his true abilities in detail before hand and fought a battle of attrition (Naruto bogging him down with hundreds of clones in various forms comes to mind), they would've stood a chance. </p>

<p>I'm legitimately waiting for Sasuke to at-least attempt to unseal Kaguya, after he learns she was deemed a traitor to her clan by consuming the God Fruit as well as having an odd attachment to the human race. </p><p>The enemy of my enemy is my friend would be a valid line of thinking for Sasuke, though it remains to be seen whether he would take the risk that she could even be reasoned with. </p><p>It may get to a point where allowing Isshiki to run free within Kawaki's body may outweigh the risk of unsealing her, as she also has a wealth of information on his abilities and presumably Karma in general. </p><p>If he believes they're screwed anyway, might as well right? </p>

<p>I remember reading somewhere that Kakashi's gonna have a big role in the coming story, so I'm guessing he takes over the Hokage office in the wake of Naruto being incapacitated. </p><p>Can you imagine the shock on everyone's faces once Sasuke informs them that both him and Naruto <i>lost</i>? My god, they're gonna nani the fuck out of next chapter. The "we're fcked" mentality is gonna be prevalent. </p><p>I suspect Jigen's also relatively incapacitated for the duration of the story, and the other Kara members will be the main focus onward. </p><p>There's also that bit with Sakura and Tsunade's 100 Sealings technique that has yet to be resolved. </p><p>The manga is now pretty much kicked into high overdrive, and I'm honestly praying the anime hurries and adapts the Jigen fight. </p>

<p>^ this. He's gotta keep the story going, stretching it out would take too long. If this manga was weekly (detrimental to the mangaka's health, I can see why he doesn't want to move to weekly) you can bet these battles would have way more depth and meaning to them. </p>

<p>Tbh when the anime actually reaches this point (in 20 years lmao) they'll extend this fight and actually have Naruto and Sasuke use the full extent of their abilities. </p><p>Both Naruto vs. Delta and N/S vs. Jigen? Isshikki? are gonna be real glorious when animated... </p><p>It'll literally take 20 years though. God, why can't this be seasonal? </p><p>Naruto/Sasuke vs Jigen ending with Nardo getting sealed away would make for an awesome season finale. </p><p>Naruto is definitely going to return probably near the end of the story, more powerful than ever because it's a shonen. His unsealing is probably gonna be big, so I can imagine him being on another tier of power if and when he actually gets unsealed. </p>

<p>Can't wait for them to reverse engineer Delta's eye power into Naruto's mechanical arm. </p><p>He'll be absorbing and shooting back jutsu like 90% of all his enemies in no time. </p>

<p>Yep, Naruto in SPSM literally destroyed Momoshiki in CQC in the manga and matched Momoshiki hit for hit in the anime... </p><p>She nearly overwhelmed his defense while in SPSM... </p><p>Wow. </p>

<p>Nah, this book was never adapted before. </p><p>This is also the one where Hinata gets some more character development, and its revealed she never really forgave Hiashi for his treatment of her. </p><p>Also Hinata vs Hanabi mock duel. </p><p>Sasuke Shinden is the one where Sasuke becomes the team leader of Team 7 for a day and proceeds to flex his rudimentary Railgain by accelerating a copper Kunai past the speed of sound through electromagnetic rails in mid-air using lightning style; destroying half a mountain. </p><p>Shikamaru Shinden is the one where the Hidden Stone threatens war and Shikamaru almost snaps the necks of the other 4 Kage (literally only stopped when Naruto flexes and forcibly breaks Shika's Shadow Bind). It's also revealed the only reason why the peace has lasted is because of Naruto's sole existence. </p><p>He's simply too powerful and every other nation fears him as he could theoretically wipe out all other nations on the planet by himself. </p>

She has a ton of chakra, if anything Shin would run out first while only scratching the surface of her reserves. </p><p>With the Byakugou she can fight like an Edo-Tensei reanimation, tanking would-be fatal hits while delivering one and surviving. </p>

<p>SPSM is pretty much an upgraded version of the regular Sage Mode, which he can use in conjunction with his chakra cloaks. </p><p>Because of the fact that he no longer looks like he did when fighting TTJ Madara/Kaguya, people speculate he is only drawing on the power of Kurama, i.e. Nine-Tail's Chakra Mode instead of all Nine-Tailed Beasts. </p><p>If this is true, Naruto still has one higher form he has not shown as an adult. </p>

<p>I seriously doubt Orochimaru is fast enough to catch Minato when Ay couldn't do it. </p><p>The only person to ever catch an FTG user was Madara in Sage Mode or as the Ten-Tails' Jinchuuriki, both instances rather a feat of reaction time than raw physical speed, both respectively boosted by his higher forms. </p><p>SM Naruto could dodge the Third Raikage's attack in Sage Mode, and the latter was much faster than Naruto. However in the same vein, Jugo while in Sage Transformation, could barely react to the 3rd Raikage. </p><p>Minato doesn't really have anything in his arsenal to kill Orochimaru, and Orochimaru wouldn't be able to catch Minato. </p><p>Since OP never mentioned about anybody needing to actually die to win, I would go with Minato. Orochimaru would just get BFR'ed pretty fast. </p><p>Also, Sword of Kusanagi is an inanimate object. It doesn't have any speed feats. That was Oro's tongue. His tongue blitzed Kurama. </p><p>Enma hitting Kurama isn't really a feat, random shinobi could hit him with explosive tags. Tailed Beasts aren't really known for speed. </p><p>The God Tree was more of an immovable object, so blitzing that isn't really a feat as well... </p><p>In a battle to the death, however, Orochimaru would win. Simply because of the fact that he cannot die. </p><p>Minato using the Reaper Death Seal is not really a win either, both of them die, so that's a stalemate. </p>
