<p>So now basically I think Boruto might have the upper-hand mostly because based on what I know, Boruto has the speed to get into a corner and start playing mind games with Gaara before his sand gets close enough. The moment he gets into a hiding spot, instantly places a shadow clone and gets to another spot where he would have his 3 other shadow clones. From there, when the 1st shadow clone is beaten, the original would prepare a vanishing rasengan while the others start the trickery games. The moment the last shadow clone dies, Boruto jumps out of his hiding spot and unleashes vanishing rasengan. With Gaara unaware of that move, it would leave him stunned and damaged for a while enough to get Boruto to spam his ranged jutsu. </p>

<p>Based on this wiki (WHICH WE ARE ARGUING ON!), Yata Mirror negates any attack of any kind whether it be spiritual or physical. As long it has chakra, it will not hit. And if it is close-combat, it still won't hit. </p>

And never forget that Orochimaru, Kisame, and Obito all admitted Itachi to be stronger than them. If you remember, the Limited Tsukuyomi world where Itachi just looked at Obito, Obito pissed his pants. </p>
