<p>I think the anime has it different, that got me confused. Orochimaru commented that the darkness disappeared, wouldn't make sense for his pawns to put him in genjutsu. </p>

<p>I feel your reply is kind of conflicting. If they knew Ay so well, why would they be worried? Ay did escape unscathed from the attack, so Darui and Cee smirking would've been fitting. <p>BFR requires a long period of time, so you're not wrong. The genjutsu seems to affect the environment instead of the persons mind only, which is why Oro and even the anbu could see it. If Minato teleports into the barrier again they'd just be waiting for him at his kunai lmao. </p>

<p>KCM Mode enhances stats, a fast strike is deadlier than a slow one, and speed is something KCM mode grants. <p>Minato cuts a planet in half WITH A KUNAI whether you like it or not. </p>

<p>Wonder how Minato would deal with the bringer of darkness genjutsu. He'd be restricted to using sensory ninjutsu, time spent using sensory ninjutsu nerfs him. If he teleports away from the battlefield it's kinda a self-bfr. </p>

• Minato can cut through the armor with a kunai because he's my favorite.
• Minato sliced octopus flesh which is vulnerable to piercing/slashing attacks therefore he can cut the armor
• KCM Minato couldn't bisect Obito like he did with the tentacle, which sheds light on durability. A punch from Kakashi made Obito cough blood, would a punch from Kakashi to Ay with Raiton armour do the same? NO.
• Minato can cut the planet in half if he wants to

<p>All Minato did was teleport and teleport, he wasn't even facing gai. Alot of things happened in that scene and Minato is simply getting false credit here. If you're gonna say Minato is faster (in reaction or what not) than 8th gate gai then: </p>

• Lee threw a kunai faster than Gai
• Kakashi could use Kamui faster than Gai could reach his target
• Gaara could transport Kakashi in range faster than Gai can reach Madara.

<p>Now to add to those: </p>

• Gai was in mid air kicking air, which is way slower than running on a solid surface. The last kick he made, were Minato teleported was not to launch another seikzo,(where he displayed great speed even in mid air) but to seemingly physically attack Madara, which is slower. (than him using seikzo)

<p>So it's either Gai wasn't on top speed at that moment, give the above + given that Minato in SAGE MODE couldn't percieve the swing of a juubi jinch arm, and the same for KCM minato, who percieved Obito's hand but couldn't get out in time. (referring to instances where Minato lost an arm to each juubi jinch). </p>

He has a case.....

<p>We'll ignore the calorie requirement to perform this jutsu, turning big just makes him an easier target.
