Since he’s inevitably going to be vilified by konoha because of Kawaki, I think he will be branded as more of a villain, especially since hes not able to control his borushiki form. I can go as far as to see Boruto forging a temporary alliance with Code (due to the latter’s mutual hatred of kawaki) against kawaki.

I get the feeling orochimaru views his servants more respectfully than frieza, and regards them more as his assets to be protected. Frieza will just look at you as replaceable most of the time but orochimaru will respect you depending on how you appeal to him, and will actually speak to you from an eye to eye basis, same level playing field.
