SPOILERS:
KK’s plan to Shikamaru was that Araya, Konohamaru, Mitsuki, Sarada & Yodo would kill either Matsuri or Ryu or the duo of them however, the way that we’ve seen turns out makes it impossible for that to be a scenario. KK mentions later on that he intends for Konohamaru to die to Matsuri and Yodo to die to Ryu but Sarada’s MS would let her defeat Ryu but then who would kill Matsuri in that scenario? With Konohamaru dead and eaten by Matsuri likely making her stronger, the only ones to combat her are Mitsuki & Araya which based on the Ryu fight would lose to Matsuri who would then kill the unconscious Sarada and take Ryu’s thorn soul to revive him which would mean that entire plan would just end with all the Shinobi dying and the Shinju still surviving even though KK mentions Sarada’s MS would be important later but that can’t happen if in this scenario he planned, she would die.
