And it's not like they would've reached a point where they became too old and rusty. We know Sasuke and Naruto were constantly doing crap. They are both about 32, and had 15 years to train. We also know that Naruto did get massively stronger over the years. He went from needing Sasuke, DMS Kakashi, and Sakura, in his second strongest form to defeat an Otsutsuki, to manhandling an Otsutsuki in just 2 years, without even using Six Paths Sage Mode. He just used normal Sage mode and KCM2, with half of his chakra elsewhere fighting that Golem. Like it or not, that's how strong he got IN JUST 2 BLOODY YEARS!
Damage is permanent, but what they could do was not spam their moves like Sasuke did to preserve their eyesight. Unless they had some Hashirama Cells handy
All he's gotta do is land a Rasenshuriken. By her admission, she couldn't heal the damage dealt to her chakra network.
I will say, it would've been cool seeing Edo Itachi use a perfect Susanoo to bring the fight to Kabuto. Plus you could have Sasuke witnessing it and wondering how much more he had left to learn about the Sharingan. Then you could make him use a Perfect Susanoo in the Juubito fight.
Minato is screwed.
This wouldn't happen for one reason. Itachi. Chances are Itachi would arrive to stop Orochimaru. If he wasn't training Sasuke, and rather was just keeping him captive, Itachi would probably show up to take down Orochimaru, since this completely goes against his plans.

Uryu slams. You can give Sasuke his Rinnegan if you'd like. It wouldn't matter.

Shukaku is weaker. Remember that half of Kurama was able to defeat Kokuo, Saiken, Isobu, Matatabi, and Chomei all at once. Even Gyuki, the arguably second strongest of the tailed beasts couldn't do that. Also, putting Kurama in the Gedo statue, without prepping it with the chakra of the other tailed beasts, would just break it. It isn't quite an inconsistency, more of a Kurama just has that much chakra. Also, Gaara's mom did die in childbirth. Shukaku probably didn't help matters much there.
Easily Nagato. No one else used the Rinnegan properly. Oh, give some credit to Kabuto as well. When Kabuto was puppeteering Nagato, he made Edo Nagato a BEAST. You saw the way he used the paths in conjunction with one another.
If I recall didn't Hinata in the manga run hands with Momo?

While normally I'd agree, Minato is the same dude who sealed Kurama into Naruto so he could handle "Madara" I think he'd know

Minato got this in the bag. They can take the fight to Pain, forcing Pain to focus on them instead of the Leaf. I say them because now the entire fighting force can try and deal with the lesser paths and the summons while Minato duels Pain. He also probably grabs Naruto from Mount Myoboku way faster since he could just reverse summon himself there.
Yeah. Kaguya didn't NEED to be sealed. Well she did, but she didn't. They just weren't strong enough at that time to kill her. And even if they were, they'd be dooming the 9 tailed beasts. Ichigo don't care, so he commits the big doom. Naruto wouldn't doom the tailed beasts, and Sasuke knew he needed the tailed beasts
... I'm waiting for that one guy... unless he got blocked while I was gone.
