If black zetsu states that the IT turns everyone into a white zetsu army, what happened the first time Kaguya activated it? Did it turn everyone caught in it into zetsu? If yes, how are there still people around for Hagoromo and Hamura to keep the peace with? Do I have this all wrong?

@Malekal4 Sasuke didn’t get caught because of his Susanoo, not his rinne. Same reason Naruto, Sakura, and Kakashi didn’t get caught - he shielded them with the Susanoo
True but Orochimaru still didn’t have access to jutsu at this point. I’m not sure if it would make a big enough difference, but I’d still lean 8&9
