He's not really overrated, I don't see fans of him like you see Sasuke and Itachi fans. I also don't get how he's boring, one of the main things about him is comedic relief.

He had so much going for him in the chunin exams, they did kinda throw him to the side after that, but if your comparing, Sakura is worse than Rock Lee, and this is not coming from a hater, I'm in the middle on my opinions of Sakura.

Its not that he can't It's almost like he doesn't want to write female characters well, most of the females aren't as strong and the ones that are, get sexualized, i love this series but this makes me so mad.

Part one Naruto wouldn't win but if it was a 1v1 with older Naruto, Naruto would solo him.

Ok, but be honest with me, it's not Kishimoto trying to make female characters no one likes, he's just terrible at writing them, if Sakura and Hinata were written differently, they'd be the best characters, but the female characters are written VERY badly, Kishimoto made Hinata's whole personality about Naruto, when she could have been much more, Sakura only seems useless sometimes because she's put off to the side so that the boys can look cool, i love Naruto but sometimes it can feel a bit sexist.
