Yeah, Madara didn't trasplant his eyes into Nagato without the latter's knowledge, definitely not.
Kaguya couldn't be defeated without Six Paths — Chibaku Tensei, while Momoshiki was killed by a Rasengan (enhanced with Naruto's chakra, alright, but still a Rasengan). I think Hamura was in the same league as Hagoromo before the elder brother became the Ten-Tails' host. Toneri possessed the Tenseigan for a very short time, so I doubt he mastered it to the same extent as his ancestor. Urashiki's kind of a wild card, since he was forced to flee by Gaara and Chōjūrō, but has a Rinnegan, which might put him above Kinshiki. I put Asura above Indra since the younger brother had Six Paths Senjutsu.

Dunno about B, but A told Naruto that he and Minato had clashed many times. Chapter 541 page 8.

Killer beee said something along the lines of sasuke being the only person to dodge his attack besides Ayy, which is nonsense because killer bee fought minato, and minato was shown and stated to be greater than Ayy+Bee and faster than ayy+ bee. so killer bee was wanking sasuke for no apparent reason when he stated that.
Killer B just said that nobody besides Ay had dodged his "Eight" sword. Which is true, since B never attacked Minato with it.
BlazeRelease wrote: And who said there wasn't anything mentioned, as I've stated many times, it was stated from the first time he used, why do you never see that? chapter 113. Guy says, "It's a move reserved for assination. The secret is in the speed of the thrust. and the immense chakra produced by super activating one's flesh" and in the next chapter he mentions about the impossible speed it posseses "It's formal name is Chidori and it's secret lies in the almost impossible speed of it's stroke and the immense chakra focused in it". So here's your proof and so, uhh. I win lol.
Right after that, Lee thinks to himself what it truly means. What makes Guy say "impossible speed" isn't the actual speed, but the fact such a direct attack forces the opponent to counter-attack. Which is why only someone with a Sharingan can use Chidori safely, since the dōjutsu negates the tunnel vision effect.
Chidori focuses the user's chakra in the arm, so that it becomes like a blade that can cut through anything when combined with the speed of the thrust. The rest of the user's body isn't affected by the technique, otherwise we'd see lightning bolts all over it (Chidori Current).
Either that, or the character designer was just lazy.

Then why didn't they appear a little sooner? Hagoromo, in chapter 670, says that he can't help Naruto get back into the world of living, it all depends on what the people "outside" are going to do. Simply put: Naruto still had to get saved by Obito when he met the Sage.
JOA20 wrote: Sasuke stated that these powers were given to them by Hagoromo (chapter 681).
It's the byproduct of the Rinnegan. It would be the same to say his EMS was Itachi's gift as they originated from Itachi's eyes.
Byproduct of the Rinnegan or not, Sasuke states that the jutsu was given to him by Hagoromo. So, either Sasuke gained the Rinnegan from Hagoromo, or was given Amenotejikara from him.

JOA20 wrote: Amenotejikara comes from Hagoromo, that much can be said. Same for Naruto's Trutseeker orbs.
The Truth Seeker Orbs manifest with the use of the Ten-Tails' Six Paths Senjutsu. And, Amenotejikara is a natural ability of Sasuke's Rinnegan.
Sasuke stated that these powers were given to them by Hagoromo (chapter 681).

I'm quite sure it was Hagoromo's chakra that allowed Sasuke to awaken his Rinnegan. At the very least, Sasuke stated that Amenotejikara was given to him by the Sage of Six Paths (chapter #681).
Asura and Indra's trasmigrants shouldn't be really counted. Without Asura's chakra, Hashirama and Naruto wouldn't have reached the levels they did. Same for Madara and Sasuke without Indra's. Like, c'mon. Look at Tobirama and Itachi. They were extremely gifted shinobi in their own right (perhaps even more talented than Hashirama and Sasuke), yet they were nothing compared to their brothers, just because they weren't lucky enough to be incarnates.

She's a Shinobi.
Even so, it'd sound kinda repetitive if every member of Team 7 had a traumatic past.
Kakashi's father whom he idolized committed suicide, he felt responsible for Obito's "death" and broke the promise he made to the Uchiha by killing Rin.
Naruto became an orphan and a jinchūriki shortly after he was born and was shunned by the village.
Sasuke's clan was massacred when he was 7 by someone he thought of as a loving older brother.
I'd say it's better to have someone who had a relatively normal childhood in there. Sakura was a girl with a rose-colored view of the world, and fell behind her team-mates pretty quickly because of it. That's why she went to ask for Tsunade's guidance. The improvements she showed against Sasori after the timeskip were nothing short of impressive, exactly because of how she was before. Adding a trauma to Sakura's life doesn't really improve her character arc, as far as I'm concerned.
P1pham wrote: What if you had a clone perform the jutsu? Wouldn't this let you keep your vision and bypass the condition?
For Izanagi, it'd be useless. Only the clone would be affected by it, since Izanagi works only in one's personal space. If it was performed by a clone and the original was mortally wounded, the original wouldn't get revived. As for Izanami, it could work, but I doubt it. Such a heavy price can't be bypassed so easily. Naruto risked turning to stone during Sage training even when it was his clone that was supposed to petrify, as Fukasaku said. The clone's sensations are transmitted to the original, at least for the Shadow Clone Technique.
@Littlegen: Izanagi and Izanami have nothing to do with the Mangekyō, they're Sharingan techniques.
UltimaDude wrote: It would be cool to see Gaara using the traditinal jinchuriki transformations
As in Version 1 & 2? Shukaku's jinchūriki don't have them, apparently. Rather than chakra, they coat themselves with sand to turn into Shukaku.
If Gaara had earned Shukaku's full cooperation, he'd have been stronger than he was during the Fourth Shinobi World War, but I don't think he'd be at Kurama Mode Naruto's level. After bonding with Kurama, Naruto could overwhelm five tailed beasts by himself, barely needing Killer B's help. Even if we were to say that the Six Paths jinchūriki couldn't unleash the five controlled beasts' full power, Yang-Kurama still kept up with them. Gaara's prowess with the sand was comparable to Shukaku, as his father initially thought that Gaara was using the Feigning Sleep Technique. If the two joined forces, Gaara would be able to use Shukaku's cursed seal markings and Magnet Release, but that's about it.

The OP argues that it wasn't Six Paths Sage Mode because Naruto lacked the Six Paths Ten-Tails Coffin Seal on the back. In that case we should make another article about this new mode of Naruto without the cloak? Or just put it as an "incomplete" Six Paths Sage Mode?

Talk:Six Paths Sage Mode. Start a topic there (by clicking on "Add topic") if you're that invested. But I suggest you read the previous topics in the two archives first.
Frankly, I've been thinking about it during my free time. What can Naruto do in Six Paths Sage Mode that he can't in base/Sage/Nine-Tails Mode?
“ | With the power he received from Hagoromo, Naruto has the innate ability to grasp the nature of chakra and comprehend all universal things: his sensing ability rises, to the point where he can sense and thus react to the invisible shadows in the world of Limbo. | ” |
—Six Paths Sage Mode article |
So the fact that Naruto could sense and therefore dodge Limbo before he donned the cloak would hint at him already being in SPSM. And there's the fact that he could save Guy's life. When I first read it, I thought it was because of the Six Paths Yang Power mark, but the databook says it was Yin–Yang Release, which was given to Naruto by Hagoromo. If I'm not mistaken, the Sage Art: Magnet Release Rasengan page in Jin no Sho says that Naruto could use that technique only after being blessed by Hagoromo. I don't see why it shouldn't be the same for Sage Art: Lava Release Rasenshuriken. Either that or we have to think that Naruto got multiple powers from Hagoromo (Six Paths Sage Mode, Yin–Yang Release, pinnacle of sensing ability, using other tailed beasts' skills besides Kurama's), rather than a single power with multiple abilites.
And that's my take on it.
Sasuke being caught by Kotoamatsukami would've happened only if Naruto hadn't met Edo Itachi. But in that case, with Itachi and Nagato roaming around the battlefield, the Allied Forces would've been screwed. Kabuto summoned Madara only after losing Nagato and Itachi, which hints at how highly Kabuto thought of them. Being reanimated, Itachi could spam Tsukuyomi, Amaterasu and Susanoo, while Nagato could create stars left and right. That's a pretty dark scenario for the good guys (Itachi even commented on how the two of them together were almost omnipotent).
Back to the topic, Sasuke would've fallen for the genjutsu hook, line and sinker. Even if he himself noticed that something was amiss, he wouldn't be able to do anything about it. A genjutsu that overwrites even Kabuto's control of Edo Tensei is that strong. It would've been funny to see Sasuke screaming "I'll kill you" and then say "I'll protect Konoha".

Isnt yang release said to produce vitality? wouldnt it be safe to assume that Wood release is Earth, Water AND Yang Release? Further to back that statement would be Kurama's Yang Chakra having an effect on Wood Release, causing it to grow wild as with White Zetsu's and Yamato's Wood Release jutsu.
Yang is said to breathe life into chakra and it makes the most sense, to me at least, that Wood Release is in fact a triple combination of Earth, Water and Yang, and because Hashirama being the Inheritor of Hagoromo's Yang Power through Ashura's "Body", being a massive source of life force and vitality that wood release and even regeneration without hand seals is possible.
Tell me what you think?
Except that Wood Release is stated to be a kekkei genkai. Not to mention Yin and Yang release aren't even components of advanced natures, from what we've seen so far. I agree that Hashirama's extreme vitality played a huge role in the power of his Wood Release, though.
