Go for it! I've written a Naruto fanfic myself (mostly to improve my writing skills) and it's been really fun! People may call it cringe, but if you enjoy doing it then those opinions don't matter!
Naruto is one of the few shows I've watched where I've been able to identify even minor side characters by Myers Briggs personality types. Kishimoto is very good at painting interesting characters with different mental disorders and trauma responses. He lacks flexibility in developing different personality types for women, (as he stated himself) particularly in the first show.
Pain (Tendo?)- comes across as an ENTJ (like Yahiko), while Nagato is an INFJ with C-PTSD and chronic depression.
Itachi- INFJ, PTSD, (A given) depression, and ADD.
Jiraiya- ENFP, ADHD.
Rock Lee- ENFP, slight autism.
Neji- INTJ, PTSD
Konan- ISFJ, PTSD
Pretty much everyone in Naruto has PTSD, let's be honest-
I've learned a LOT from my sister (A Psychologist) and on my own about the cognitive functions behind the Myers Briggs theory, and about mental disorders and their effects on different personality types, but it doesn't mean that my opinion is 100% right-
If Haku had been told by Zabuza to kill Kakashi, he'd be able to assassinate him without batting an eye (Senbon to the neck and it's over) but if he didn't have that incentive... Kakashi'd probably win.
DANZO (I had to, I hate that guy with a passion) But I'd say Black Zetsu is the second-most evil character, since he the one who manipulated most of the villains in Shippuden.
I thought it was a Genjutsu loop the first time I watched it, then I realized that it was just a really loooong canyon for no good reason else than to drag out the time
When I first saw Mirai I had to do a double take, I completely thought she was Shisui for a second
^^ I second that. Also, I think that the sentient Jūbi will be more powerful than first implied (probably to draw out battle scenes) so they may discover/reveal more abilities that they have as they evolve more.
Also don't trust everything you read on the internet -Abraham Lincoln (;
I think the whole Menma concept is intriguing, it grasps how easily Naruto could have turned evil. However, the movie could have done a lot more with it, and fleshed it out better than they did. In conclusion, it's a good idea, and I'd consider it canon if it was more fleshed out and explored.
In my opinion, I think Madara would win a long term fight, since the DMS still uses up significant chakra, while Madara's Jūbi form has such chakra storage that he could last a while. (also if someone could teach me the low diff/high diff system I'd appreciate it, I'm a bit new to interacting with this ;-;)
One sentence. "You have FRIENDS?!" Also, while I'm sure there's some fathers that are worse because Gaara's dad never outright abused him, I'd definitely say he's still one of the worst.
Y'know, I think that there needs to be more distinction whenever the studio does create non-canon (not in the manga) things, but it is kind of cool to see what they do with it... What I'd like to see more of is the novels that Kishimoto helped write being animated. (I'm not an 'OG' fan myself, but Naruto is definitely my favorite anime, and I'd love to see more of the manga in the show (like something coming out about the Genjutsu life that Itachi showed Izumi the night of the Uchiha Massacre))
