- I titoli dei databook provengono da un kuji-in: una sequenza di nove posizioni delle mani usate nella meditazione. Tali kuji-in hanno trovato un posto nel folklore ninja come degli incantesimi di magia. I kuji-in a cui fanno riferimento le guide sono: rin-pyō-tō-sha-kai-jin-retsu-zai-zen (臨兵闘者皆陣裂在前), con il Rin no Sho che fa riferimento al primo.
