Point #1: Boruto is a whining brat with no respect towards his father or his accomplishments.
Well, Naruto was also a whining brat in Part 1. But yeah, Boruto had no respect for his father or accomplishments. He didn't have any sense of really how incredible of a character Naruto was in terms of accomplishments and mindset. But a large point of the movie (and the Chuunin Exams arc) was to show that Boruto was wrong in that regard and had to see for himself the kind of man Naruto was. In the end, Boruto realizes it and asks Naruto to tell him more about his old adventures.
Point #2 The worst insult is his admiration towards Sasuke as a mentor who I consider inferior, and the supposed death of Naruto.
Admiring Sasuke isn't bad. And while you consider Sasuke as inferior, the manga and anime have both explicitly stated they're equal. Sasuke (now) is a guardian of Leaf who doesn't ask for any recognition. He chooses to stay out of the spotlight and just does what he has to to protect the village. Boruto may have started out following Sasuke to distance himself from Naruto, but following Sasuke is not a bad thing.
Point #3 Boruto will never compare to Naruto and his life was paradise in comparison.
Boruto is already more competent than Naruto at the same age.
Just because Naruto had a rougher childhood, doesn't mean Boruto's pain doesn't count. That's a ridiculous argument. Naruto had to suffer solitude. Boruto had to suffer the feeling of neglect. Both are awful to go through, even if Naruto's was more visceral. Boruto also has the hurdle of expectations; he's the son of the legendary Naruto. He can produce 4 Shadow Clones, which is amazing for someone his age, yet most people just note that Naruto was making hundreds at the same age. Boruto already has an image he has to live up to, and any impressive thing he does is usually amounted to being Son of the Seventh. Whereas everyone expected Naruto to fail in the first place, and so were surprised when he did anything competent. Basically Boruto has to deal with his universe's version of you; that is, people who won't let him get out of Naruto's shadow.
Lots of people here have called Boruto a Naruto clone; I disagree.
"He just uses Shadow Clone and Rasengan like Naruto"
He doesn't just overwhelm with numbers, because he can't; he has to develop ways to use his smaller power pool. Boruto stream is a good example.
"He's just a prankster and strategizes the same way as Naruto did."
Being a prankster can very well be inherited; besides, barring Naruto's fight with Zabuza, Naruto's main strategy is surprising the opponent with how much chakra he has. Essentially leaving the opponent saying "wow what crazy stamina, how is he still standing?"
"They have the same personality."
Not at all. Both have a sense of sticking up for their teammates, but Boruto knew it up front. He's been sticking up for his teammates from the get go. Naruto only wanted to prove himself, and switched gears after the fight with Zabuza.
Another difference in personality is how they tackle problems. Boruto by nature wants to take shortcuts and get there as quickly as possible. Naruto will often use his insane stamina to pull off strategies only he could, but in a way that would leave anyone else drained of chakra.
