Are you freaking serious? I soon as Boruto's BS-gan was introduced, I knew the team will grab things from their ass. *Sighs
Boruto Episode 11 – Shadow of the Mastermind Sumire finds herself injured due to the Ghost incident. Boruto, now more than ever seeks out the culprit, looking around the village. Mitsuki and Shikadai become aware of the possibility of having another Ghost incident based on Boruto’s explanation.
Boruto Episode 12 – Boruto and Mitsuki Suddenly, the Ghost incidents have stopped. Boruto wonders about the reason, and it seems like Mitsuki is hiding something. Meanwhile, Mitsuki is puzzled over the changes in him and suddenly, an abnormal situation occurs in the village.
Boruto Episode 13 – A Monster Emerges They find the identity of someone behind the Ghost incidents. They are shocked, but at the right time, a big monster appears.
Boruto Episode 14 – The Path That Boruto Sees…! / Boruto’s Answer (Solution)- Boruto will travel to the OTHER WORLD using his eye? What is the other world? Is the world of the Otsutsuki? Is it a Space Time Ninjutsu like Kamui that Boruto used to reach there? What does the world have to show?
Since he apparently has a contract with the Nue, he can reverse summon to that realm.

how in the H.E.L.L is Hinata not directly related to hamura? i don't think you really understand what direct means. hinata is absolutely irrefutably a direct decendant of Hamura, naruto on the otherhand is related to hamura but not directly because he is related to hamura because he is a direct decendant of Hagoromo, Hamura is the direct anestor of absolutely every hyuga. meaning Hamura is hinata's great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great etc etc grandfather
as for the uzumaki and senju relations. only a direct decendant of asura can be a transmigrant. therfore A, the uzumaki are a branch of the senju, or B one of asura's children started the uzumaki clan
@Actionmanrandell Being a direct descendant means that you were born within a couple of generations after your blood predecessor (a.k.a parents, uncles/aunts, and grandparents). Naruto and Hinata are distant descendants of Hagoromo and Hinata, meaning that many, even countless, generations have passed

no thats 100% wrong In genealogy the term direct line refers to a relationship of one person to another in a direct line. A direct-line ancestor is someone from whom you descend in a direct line, parent to child, grandparent, great-grandparent, etc. Direct-line research refers to genealogy research focused on one's direct-line ancestors. hagoromo spawned indra and asura, who spawned so and so and so and so, who spawned so and so and so and so etc etc all the way down in a direct line to sasuke and naruto, making naruto and sasuke direct decendants to hagoromo, the same thing for hamura, hamura spawned so and so and so and so and so and so and so all the way down in a direct line to hinata, making hinata his direct decendant FACT
an example of an indrect decendant would be someone who is related to the ancestor indrectly such as being a decendant of said person's cousin or by marriage, two examples of this would be Hinata and Sakura. Hinata is a DIRECT decendant of hamura who was the twin brother of hagoromo making hinata a indirect decendant of Hagoromo-as an ancestor doesn't imply that you are the child of the child of etc etc it just means you have a familial relationship, as for sakura she is married to sasuke and therfore an indirect decendant by marriage.
In genealogy they don't use direct or indirect descendant for exactly this reason.
Hinata is a lineal descendant of Hamura. She is a collateral descendant of Hagoromo.
Lineal means that she's the daughter of a son/daughter of a son/daughter etc whereas collateral means she's a niece (IE the descendant of someone's brother)
As @actionmanrandell said, "direct and indirect descendant" are correct terms used in genealogy, and lineal descendant is a valid term used in genealogy research too, meaning what the @killman and @actionmanrandell said. (https://www.ancestry.com/) (https://familysearch.org/search) @Ultimadude stated that Naruto and Hinata are distant descendants of Hasgoromo and Hamura, and literally thats right, I mean, there has passed many generation among´em, but Naruto and Hinata are direct / lineal descendants of hago. and hamu.
Imo, Boruto´s dojutsu is a lowlevel / incompleted form of the tenseigan or is closely related, ´cz we´ve seen in the anime this weird vision of this Otsutsuki guy, and we´ve seen Boruto looking to the moon and trying to activate his dojutsu in this way.
If you ask me for a reason why or how Boruto could awake this Dojutsu, or why is it related to the tenseigan, I would say that: 1- Boruto´s dojutsu looks similar to the Tenseigan. 2- Having a weird dojutsu could make a great plot to the series (at least at this early phase of the anime), I mean, this thing of negative chakra, other dimensions or other worlds (The otsutsukis have been traveling through other worlds/dimensions (?)), the eye that is the only hope for the future, a villain working behind scenes to gather chakra, in order to release some kind of powerful foe (Nue), who has been dormant / sealed.
People call it a tenseigan due to the glow, but i don't see why that's any definitive answer.
Power-wise it's an extremely shitty Byakugan which can only see one specific chakra. He can't even see 360 degrees or X-ray. I think it's thus an underdeveloped Byakugan. At some point Boruto perhaps learns to control the eye and so eventually it becomes a proper Byakugan.
Also note that the Byakugan doesn't really have "Forms". Hamura's and Kaguya's eyes were called Byakugan, even though they were almost certainly vastly superior to that of a regular Hyuga. Unlike the Sharingan it's a physical eye, and it seems that manifesting powers via the Byakugan doesn't make it a new Dojutsu. IE the Moon Otsutsuki apparently had Byakugan that could draw in nature energy.
