Sometimes when I check the difference between two edits, an audio starts playing. It usually happens on a character page, and the audio usually describes the character. I don't see any player or anything. Does anybody know how to stop it?

It's from the videos at the top of popular characters such as Boruto. They have added the autoplay function only a couple of days ago, I think.
I still wonder how anyone would ever come to the conclusion that automatically playing audio or video is the right thing to do. Wik- I mean Fandom is making the user experience worse with every new decision ._.
Follow these instructions, Jacce. I hope it helps.

Wikia/Fandom, what the fuck is wrong with you?

I tried it, it prevents the video from being seen but it doesn't stop the audio. Thanks for the help though.
And I'm wondering the same thing about Fandom.
We don't want to tarnish their great name now.
Jokes aside, i think you can just mute one video and it mutes the rest wikia wide. The audio is always muted for me.

Hmm. Curiously, I'm not getting that same audio annoyance when I visit a diff for a page (I would have found a fix for it if I did). I'll try to look around and find a solution if I can.
