How'd everyone enjoy the 1st ep of the new arc?
As always, no illegal links and/or asking about where to watch the episode!

what makes you think that?
In a season of 24 episodes of Naruto, there is always ONE episode that is very good in animation quality. You can detect the episode based on the drawing line size. It's very thin and sometimes you can look it as 3D (but it's not). For this season, Episode 451 is the episode of the season. For the least season, it's Episode 426. Episode 375 also a good example of the nicely done episode of the season.
i think the animations are better here because they had new entities to draw, instead of what has already been drawn and what they could reuse. we haven't seen young itachi ever(like pre academy itachi), much of fugaku or mikoto, just born sasuke, the uchiha who likes itachi(the one who goes "your an uchiha in my class as well?) or masked man shown in this fashion. (even if for a few frames). i liked this episode, but i think it's missing only one thing for me. where is shisui? i mean, it's implied that itachi and him have known each other for a while. but then again, we have six to eight more years after we see itachi holding baby sasuke for their friendship to form.

If U Watched The Previews Of The Next Episode, U'd See That's Where Shisui Shows Up, lol.

And that would be awesome. Btw, when is the next episode?

yeah, just watched it. shisui looks too cute lol.
Took one off the rating because of the complete lack of transition between an argument during the IT and Itachi's past. They could have done one of two things:
1) Completely left the in-story events out and done a next-episode preview announcement akin to the ones used for Mecha-Naruto and Konohamaru ("We're gonna break off to show you this" kind of fashion).
2) Placed it in the one canon scenario (from this point forward) where it truly makes sense: before Sasuke's and Naruto's final fight, where they argue over Itachi's ideals. Unfortunately that would be likely to piss off a lot of people.
As for the animation quality, well, I as always have qualms about it. It just seems to be a combination of studio preference and availability of man-hours/budget, the latter taking priority.
If anything, I like how they took away the wrinkles from his face. Sure, it's his defining appearance characteristic, but has he really had it his entire life?

lol, perriot will definively use fillers at that point too, to be honest, i wonder be suprised if they stretch the fight out too and add a lot more content,
EXSPECIALLY flashbacks to VOTE1, pretty much a re-play of kakashi vs obito with their past fight, now it is sasuke and naruto, only thing missing is that sasuke wears his forehead protector XD
