Finally the much awaited fight, Guy releases Eight inner Gates and battles Madara, waited almost a year to watch it animated. Good to see Might Duy, he looks like copy of Guy, Oh and the feels T_T... The pace was slow at start but picked up in middle of the fight.
Loved the ending song Rainbow Sky performed by "FLOW"

I can't say with absolute certainty since I can't read Japanese, but I believe it was mentioned in the grapevine that it is about Naruto returning to Konoha after during his journey with Jiraiya to train with Konohamaru on a new jutsu. I assume Konohamaru is the "rival" that is mentioned in the title of the special.
I am trying to learn more about this anime schedule as we speak from someone who is connected to the Naruto anime. I'm also trying to find out how good the animation quality of #420 will be since it is the episode everyone has been waiting for. Again, I'm not 100% positive, but from what I've seen, the animation for Gai vs. Madara will not be the stellar quality everyone is hoping it will be. Though on the bright side, the battle might be extended longer than it was in the manga. As soon as I know something, I'll let you know.

I have endless respect for people like Guy, must be a great honor for Madara to admit that Hashirama was the only one else who exited him before Guy, to be able to kick the butt of a God. These slow flashbacks are killing me though it's like Kishimoto is trying to slow down the series as if the manga didn't end.
I Can't Wait Until 421, lol.
