It dilutes the acid, at the cost of boiling hot water that is still capable of burning you to death if you were within. Meanwhile, Strength of a hundred keeps Tsunade perfectly safe. That or hundreds of mini Katsuyu's covering her. Also, you don't need to place your hands upon the ground to summon. Hidden Snake Hands proves that. As well as other jutsu. Once Kisame dies, the prison wan't be a problem since it follows him around and stays at the center. Either once he dies the jutsu absolves or he and the jutsu fly up to space and away from this world. Since you float up, he'll infinitely float up.
Hundred healings aside Tsunade will die faster by intaking contaminated water lol...even if she gets covered she'll still need oxygen...and this battle got skipped a bit, how did katsuyu even appear? when she wont even be able to bring up enough dna to perform the jutsu (the blood will just get mixed with the water)...and which gigantic summoning didn't require a palm slam to the ground? even Madara summoning kurama had to slam his palm to the ground.
I hear a lot say that if Tsunade gets trapped in the shark dome she'll eventually drown, same with all other opponents that should ever face Kisame in these vs battles.
Problem with that is that Tsunade is one of, if not the physically strongest character in the series, all she needs to do, is punch the water in Kisame's general direction and it would create a shockwave, which in turn would move him to the side and thus move the giant water prison aswell. Using that technique isn't an instantaneous win for Kisame in this case. it's more like a humongous chakra drain and even with his reserves that's going to be felt.
In close combat it might appear that Kisame has the advantage because of Samahada, but that is not the case, Tsunade is as a master medic nin fully adept at avoiding hits, and even if she got hurt, that woman has proven to be able to shrug off damage like few others in the series. Besides punching his lights out she can use her Body Pathway Derangement to scramble his ability to move properly (although admitedly, Kisame's ability to absorb chakra could mitigate that tech.).
But on the subject of Chakra absorbtion, while Samehada can do that, Tsunade has access to the strenght of a hundred seal which literally gives her access to 100 times her normal chakra. He can suck all he want, it isn't going too hel him in the least. In fact, given Samehada's gluttonous nature, it might very well leave Kisame for Tsunade at the drop of a hat.
if it's summonings then Tsunade can counter any shark with Katsuyu, which can split up in more smaller slugs than Kisame and his sharks can keep track of.
Besides, Kisame opted out of a battle against Jiraiya, a guy whom Tsunade, assumingly in their prime, was able to beat within an inch of his life (though it's unknown whether or not he fought back). Considering that it has been heavily hinted that there is not a "strongest" member of those 3, Kisame would most likely opt out of a battle with Tsunade aswell.
While Kisame is a heavy hitter, he's not winning against Tsunade, not by a longshot.
I do respect your opinion but here's this...

And the imagination fail award goes to you....

Humongous chakra drain for Kisame ......ok

Ehh?...the last part lol

Why won't it heal him?..Samehada willfully heals it's master when needed. And she will eventually be outlasted given the fact that she's a close combat fighter, Kisame being a swordsman should also hint that he's one as well, now samehada absords chakra and converts it into stamina or chakra..kisame will not tire, but tsunade would.
Besides, Kisame opted out of a battle against Jiraiya, a guy whom Tsunade, assumingly in their prime, was able to beat within an inch of his life (though it's unknown whether or not he fought back).
He was basically peeping on tsunade and got shitted on with a punch...now Jiraiya's endurance isn't comparable to Kisame's in a long shot.
Considering that it has been heavily hinted that there is not a "strongest" member of those 3, Kisame would most likely opt out of a battle with Tsunade as well.
Nagato Laughs..Itachi Laughs...Obito Laughs...Ohnoki Laughs. It was just hype.

how so? Moving through any substance means that that substance is displaced -> moves with the direction of the movement. While it's hard for a human in the real world to do, someone with Tsunade's strenght could make it happen. I treat it as a similar effect as Guy's Daytime tiger which does that, but with air, although that was air and performed with the seven gates. Tsunada hasn't shown the ability to use that sort of technique, but her massive physical strenght has not only parted the ground with a single finger but aalso broken through a Susanoo's ribs. I fully believe she can pull it off.

It says on her page that she thinks is the most important thing a medic nin should do in a fight is to avoid getting hit. In order to cause any damage you have to hit them first, being evasive is a big hindrance for that to happen. Kisame is a melee fighter first and foremost and Samehada has only been shown sucking chakra in close quarters, and even then, only on skin contact, not through tools and the like. Tsunade has an advantage here.

I made a typo here, it's meant to say help, not heal. While it's true Kisame gains stamina through Samehada which makes it possible for him to win in a battel of attrition, but against Tsunade's evasion and her own stamina, durability and endurance, he's in huge trouble.

It's not just a question of endurance, but of skill and abilites, I do admit that it didn't say whether or not Jiraiya fought back, but it's highly unlikely that he didn't try to at least defend himself, besdies, where does it say that it was only one punch? if that's the case it only serves to underline that Tsunade is extremely dangerous.
Nagato Laughs..Itachi Laughs...Obito Laughs...Ohnoki Laughs. It was just hype.
Fully posible that it's hype, but Kisame hasn't been shown to conclude that he'd loose to Jiraiya on personal experience against him. He'd have to base his conclusion on third party information, which makes it likely that he'd base a vs battle against Tsunade on similar sources. He'd mostlikely conlcude he was outmatched based on abilities, fame and deeds.
In short, Kisame would be likely to believe in that hype.

You're mixing brute strength which can shatter objects upon contact with this . Releasing that amount of air just by the force of a punch (and even doing it underwater) and to move such a gigantic object in doing so seems to far fetched, i mean the only person that displayed such a feat was adult sakura..and that wasn't underwater she had free movement and i doubt (from what i saw) that that gust of wind which was release from her fist can destroy such a gigantic water dome. Provide feats i suppose which can prove whatever i just said,wrong...

Ah now it makes sense, the way you said it at first make it seem ughhh... and i now remember her saying that...but still i think you're underestimating a swordsman, who normally fights in close combat.

Dude if she engages in close combat with kisame the possibilty of her chakra getting swiped away isn't very small...a single punch can do major damage but can he land it? giving her speed that it, she has strength but lacks speed...

I agree..just the title of sannin forcced kisame to say alot of shit...and as itachi normally says it's foolish to fear what we've yet to see and know. Kisame doesn't know what he's really capable of but just the title scared him.
Kisame was afraid it the Sannin title but he hasn't actually fought Sannin. Itachi in some translations goes on to say they he and Kisame couldn't take jiriaiya even with backup, which is rediculous. Itachi was just wanking jiriaiya to finnese Kisame

Then everything Kisame said seemed completely stupid as when they were retreating Kisame said to Itachi.. why is a retreat necessary for you? with your abilities we could...........Hype fail alert
Kisame would attack with water shark bomb, absorb all of her chakra so her 100 healings wouldn't work, and then go in for the kill. Kisame is a true monster who has healing I would say rivals if not surpases Tsunade's without Katsuyu.
