Boruto Uzumaki (うずまきボルト, Uzumaki Boruto) is the son of Naruto Uzumaki and Hinata Hyūga. He is also an Academy student and a member of Konohagakure's Uzumaki and Hyūga clans.

Personality

Much like his father, Boruto is exuberant, brash, inattentive, and heedless to formality or social standings. Similarly, he appears to exhibit an inclination towards pranks. Like his father, his reason for pulling pranks is also seek attention; in this case, it's from his father, as Naruto's role as Hokage appears to be draining on his personal life. Like his father and late paternal grandmother, Boruto also inherited a verbal tic: "dattebasa" (だってばさ).

Appearance

Boruto appears strikingly similar to his father, with blonde hair, similarly shaped eyes, and whisker markings on his cheeks. Unlike Naruto, however, he has wavy hair and a rounder shaped face like his mother, and only two "whiskers" on each cheek. His eyes are also a pale shade of blue, lighter than his father's, drawing influence from his mother as well, whose eyes are white. Boruto wears a black tracksuit, reminiscent of the orange one Naruto wore for most of the series, the jacket colored red on the interior, with red stripes along the bottom and sleeve cuffs, and a red fire symbol on the right breast matching an insignia Hinata once wore on her jacket. Like with the outfits of many Konoha shinobi, the jacket also features a red Uzumaki swirl crest on the back. Underneath the jacket, he wears a plain light blue t-shirt and a bolt hanging on a string around his neck, referencing his name. Worn with this outfit are a pair of flat white sandals.

The new generation of Ino–Shika–Chō tried to convince him not to pursue it because a five Kage meeting was about to commence. No one joined him on his pranks so he conducted them alone. While on work with his prank, Naruto, his father, stopped and reprimanded him for participating in such mischief. He explained to Boruto that he can't only be a father to him as he had the responsibility of the village on his shoulders.
