The Chinoike clan (血之池一族, Chinoike Ichizoku) was a clan that lived in the Land of Lightning in the the beginning of the formation of Hidden Villages after the Warring States Period, highlighting by its improved use of dōjutsu and genjutsu.
History
Shortly after the start of the formation of the Hidden Villages, the Chinoike clan was recognized by their eyes that were red as blood which was rumored to be so captivating, looking away was impossible after looking into them. At that time, the clan had been arranged for a girl that was a integral part of the Chinoike clan to marry the daimyō of country of Lightning, becoming his concubine, but the daimyō’s wife was jealous.
Accidentally, shortly after the girl become his concubine, the daimyō fell ill and died. Then, the wife apparently put all the blame on the young girl, saying that the Chinoike clan had deceived the daimyō and in the end they slew him. However, everything was a lie, but people close to it and who knew about the genetic composition of the Chinoike clan solved only consider the words of his wife as true.
As a result, the wife has hired the Uchiha Clan to chase the Chinoike away, leading them to the isolation in the Valley of Hell, located in the Land of “thermal sources”. After being exiled in the Valley of Hell, the Chinoike had its presence cleared of shinobi world and many thought that all members of the clan were wiped out. However, the clan was able to survive under precarious conditions during many years. Finally, it was found that, although they survive for long, almost all members of the clan ended up dying in the valley, just staying alive two states that were no longer living in the Valley of Hell.
Abilities
The members of the Chinoike had a dōjutsu called Kerryūgan, which was headlined by presenting the red eye as blood and by assigning formidable skills involving ocular genjutsu, even being able to confront the skills in genjutsu of the Uchiha. The Kerryūgan became very recognized by the power that it gave, reaching to the point of even being compared with the Three Great Dōjutsu.
In addition to its power dōjutsu, the members of the clan Chinoike also had the ability to manipulate several techniques using blood and making use of the constituent assembly in iron especially blood, enabling them to create forms as a dragon.
