Orochimaru developed special glasses capable of taking the properties of dōjutsu, allowing others to use it. Through it, Naruto was able to use Hinata's Byakugan, its effects taking a long while to get used to. While the glasses are in effect, the original dōjutsu wielder cannot access their own abilities.
