Daruma Izuno (伊豆野ダルマ, Izuno Daruma) is a member of Konohagakure's Izuno Clan. He is the son of the head of the clan, Amagi Izuno.
Personality[]
Daruma is a very passionate man, especially when doting over his daughter Wasabi. He has great confidence in her potential, and is very open about it. At the same time, he can be a tad oblivious to Wasabi's goals and feelings, unintentionally putting much pressure on her.
Appearance[]
Daruma is a tall and well-muscled man of tan-complexion. He has a black-coloured hair, but a shaved head, with a trimmed goatee, and like the members born in his clan, he has golden eyes with cat-like pupils. He wears a sleeveless black shirt with a green vest that has high colors and pockets, grey shorts, and red wristbands.
New Era[]
Chūnin Re-Examination Arc[]
Main article: Chūnin Re-Examination Arc Upon his daughter's advancement to the final round of the Chūnin Exams, Daruma and his family celebrated her promotion despite the exams still not being over. The day of the finals, they checked on Wasabi before her match, voicing their confidence in her ability. During the match, he heard Wasabi express to Iwabee Yuino the weight of her family's expectations, and that she didn't have the goal of becoming Hokage, like her parents always wished for her. They were proud of her when she used their clan's jutsu to protect Iwabee.
