A primarily defensive technique employed by Gaara who uses his sand to create an enormous wall of sand that is presumably capable of protecting anything behind it from attack. It can also be used to separate persons from engaging each other.
Trivia
- Although Gaara first used this technique against Kimimaro, the technique was not revealed in the second databook (as many other techniques of that time were), but instead in the fourth (long after its introduction).
