Using this technique, a wide variety of objects and even living things can be stored within scrolls, to be released when the scroll is opened or under a specific condition. It is also possible to seal other techniques within scrolls, as demonstrated by Kisame Hoshigaki, who used a scroll as a medium for the Water Prison Technique and his summoned sharks, effectively immobilising the persons that tried to read the scroll upon opening it.[1] In the anime, this is also seen when Shikamaru Nara summoned a large amount of water,[2] and as part of Tenten's Exploding Dragon Strike technique.
