Bridge of Courage
Kakashi has just announced that squad seven's new training will be to...Climb trees! Squad seven is shocked at this statement, until Kakashi demonstrates. Kakashi climbs a tree without using his hands. He explains this is important because it involves chakra control. If they are able to control their chakra they will have a better chance against Zabuza. They begin training. Naruto and Sasuke are not very good, but Sakura is extremely adapt at it.
Meanwhile at Zabuza's lair, Gato visits Zabuza and Haku. Haku scares Gato's men and forces them to leave, Gato gives Zabuza one last chance to kill the bridge builder.
As squad seven continue training, Naruto has not improved at all, so he asks Sakura for advice, which surprises Sakura because she thought Naruto was going to throw a fit. Kakashi suspects the reason Naruto and Sasuke are having such a hard time is because they have a much higher level of chakra than Sakura.
Sakura, having finished the training is sent to guard Tazuna. Tazuna has another employee quit on him. On the way home Tazuna picks up something for dinner at a store. Sakura is surprised at how little food there is in the store. A small child begs Sakura for some food, which she gladly gives. Tazuna explains he wants to restore the village back to how it was, which he can accomplish by finishing the bridge.
Naruto and Sasuke keep training. That night at dinner, Tazuna explains to them about Kaiza, who was a hero, also he was Inari's father. The next day Sasuke and Naruto are able to climb extremely high on the tree. As Naruto heads to the bridge, Inari and his mom are attacked by some thugs. Naruto arrives just in time to save him and his mother. He compliments Inari on how brave he was. Meanwhile on the bridge Zabuza has returned, as Sasuke begins to fight Haku, he proves that he is faster than Haku. Haku then decides to activate his secret jutsu: Crystal Ice Mirrors. He begins beating Sasuke Badly. Kakashi begins to fight Zabuza with his sharingan again.
In the house of mirrors, having reached his limit Naruto collapses. In that moment Sasuke's Sharingan activates, giving him the ability to defeat Haku. Haku launches an attack at Naruto, which Sasuke takes and ends up dieing. Naruto, seeing this explodes with anger, causing the seal that contains the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox to break. Will he be able to defeat Haku now?
