This giant centipede was a summon of Nagato.
Appearance[]
This giant centipede summon had a number of body piercings, most notable the one sticking through its head, and the Rinnegan, implying it was being controlled by Pain. Its face and legs were orange.
Abilities[]
Though not much was seen of its abilities, though it did use its large body to demolish buildings in Konohagakure.[1]
Part II[]
Pain's Assault[]
Main article: Pain's Assault It was summoned during Pain's attack on Konoha to wreak havoc on the village and cause confusion. It was however killed by a single punch from Sakura Haruno. In the anime 3 of them existed, one of which was killed by Shikamaru.
Trivia[]
- This summon is reminiscent of the Japanese legend of the ōmukade, a giant human-eating centipede that lives in the mountains.
- In the anime it was summoned in Konoha alongside two additional centipedes, one of which was impaled and killed by Shikamaru Nara, and the other crossed paths with Moegi.[2]
