Hiruko (ヒルコ, Hiruko) was once a great shinobi, but upon his death, he became Sasori's favourite human puppet.[1]

He was said to have been a great shinobi while alive. He was powerful enough that Sasori chose to make a human puppet out of him.

- "Hiruko" (蛭子) can be translated to "leech child".
- Hiruko is a Japanese fisherman god. It can also be translated into "Ebisu".
- In the manga, Hiruko wasn't identified as a human puppet, leaving it unclear whether it was a regular puppet or a human one.[2]
- His height given through a settei, is him when he's on all fours.
