Kajika (カジカ) was a missing-nin from Kirigakure who made an appearance in Naruto: The Cross Roads.
Background[]
Kajika, once a shinobi of Kirigakure, turned missing-nin after leaving the village. During this period, Kajika formed connections with Orochimaru and Otogakure.
Personality[]
Kajika demonstrated unwavering loyalty to "Lord" Orochimaru, expressing a desire to be of service to someone he deeply respected. He affectionately referred to Orochimaru as "the Wonderful One". Additionally, Kajika exhibited a cruel disposition, seemingly deriving pleasure from combat, as evidenced by his actions, such as licking his lips during the fight with Sasuke.
Appearance[]
Kajika sported short black hair, obscured by a distinctive grey shark-like top featuring a hood resembling a shark's head. The hood included an appendage at the back resembling a dorsal fin, paired with dark pants. Dark violet markings adorned beneath his green eyes, and at the edges of his mouth, Kajika bore two upward curving lines reminiscent of a Glasgow smile. Notably, he also possessed unusually long fingernails.
Abilities[]
Kajika proved to be a formidable opponent, showcasing not only physical strength but also keen deductive skills. He quickly discerned Naruto and Sasuke's deception when they attempted to pose as his comrades.
Physical Prowess[]
Kajika possessed exceptional strength and speed, surpassing even the capabilities of Sasuke's Sharingan. His strikes were powerful enough to create large craters in the earth, and a single blow could propel opponents great distances through rock. Remarkably, Kajika demonstrated remarkable swimming ability, adeptly evading incoming attacks. Even when his vision was obscured by smoke bombs, he relied on instinct to skilfully dodge sneak attacks and kunai aimed at him.
Ninjutsu[]
Nature Transformation[]
Kajika demonstrated exceptional proficiency in Water Release nature transformation, effortlessly employing advanced techniques with minimal preparation time and remarkable destructive power. His mastery of water clone techniques allowed him to easily fend off Sasuke while engaging Naruto in combat. Kajika showcased the ability to dissolve one of his clones, utilising the remaining water to transform into numerous large ice darts or water tendrils. Notably, he could create a platform of water for strategic positioning.
Further underscoring his expertise, Kajika exhibited the remarkable skill of performing the Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet Technique with just one hand seal, showcasing excellent chakra control. This technique was potent enough to propel opponents through solid rock, shattering their bones. However, his most outstanding ability was the capability to unleash large, pressurised jets of water that appeared quasi-solid, effectively shattering rock with his Water Release: Cold Sky Water Attack.
Plot Overview[]
Kajika and his group launched an attack on Naruto Uzumaki, Sakura Haruno, and Sasuke Uchiha while they awaited Kakashi Hatake's return from reconnaissance. The mission involved locating the missing man, Genmai, who had been kidnapped to lure Team 7, particularly targeting Sasuke. In the skirmish, Kajika kidnapped Sakura and transported her to his lair, leaving his teammates to engage Naruto and Sasuke.
Upon the return of Kajika's teammates, Naruto and Sasuke cleverly disguised themselves as their adversaries. Kajika engaged in combat with Iwana and Yamame, revealing to Sasuke that his "Lord" had sent them to assess Sasuke's strength. After strategic planning, Sasuke ensnared Kajika in wires, enabling Naruto and his shadow clones to defeat the trapped opponent. In a desperate attempt to break free and attack Sasuke, Kajika became possessed by Orochimaru.
Following a brief exchange with Sasuke, Orochimaru relinquished control of Kajika, whose body subsequently exploded, resulting in his demise.
