Kokage Yanagikage (柳陰コカゲ, Yanagikage Kokage) is a chūnin of Konohagakure.
Appearance[]
Kokage has a short crop of brown hair and black eyes. He sports a purple-coloured tattoo on his left cheek, which features the kanji 陰 (kage), meaning "shadow" or "shade". He wears the standard Konohagakure attire complete with a flak jacket and bandanna-styles forehead protector.
Abilities[]
Kokage utilising Wind Release.
Kokage is capable of using Wind Release nature transformation and he displayed his skills with the Wind Release: Great Breakthrough technique during his assault on the Deva Path.
His clan specialises in research on concealed weapons and how to use them. The kunai fired from his mouth are more powerful than those thrown with hands.[1]

Pain's Assault[]
During Pain's assault, he accompanied a small group of shinobi and assisted in Kakashi Hatake's confrontation with the Deva Path of Pain.[2] Upon arrival, he and his comrades launched a simultaneous assault on the opposition from four directions, only to be immediately defeated by the effects of Shinra Tensei.[3]

- "Kokage" can be written with several kanji and describes the "shade of a tree". Kokage's last name is made of kanji 柳, which means "willow" and 陰, which means "shadow".
