The Kuma Panda is a panda frequently seen around the Land of Fire.
New Era[]
Versus Momoshiki Arc[]
Main article: Versus Momoshiki Arc The Kuma Panda was wreaking havoc around a small village's crop field and Team 7 was assigned to subdue the bear. Konohamaru Sarutobi restrains the bear using the Shinobi Gauntlet. An elderly gentleman thanks Konohamaru as he notes the Recovery Corps will be by soon to pick it up.
Chūnin Re-Examination Arc[]
Main article: Chūnin Re-Examination Arc In the anime, at the Forest of Death during the Chūnin Exams, Boruto Uzumaki retrieved the chūnin in need of help in order to pass the test. He was confronted by Kaito Kawanami who stole the chūnin from him. Unaware of the bear behind him, Kaito was surprised by its appearance and fell off the ledge.
Team 5 and Kawaki were assigned on a D-rank mission to capture the bear. While the team struggled without his cooperation, they succeeded in capturing the bear without Kawaki, who had fallen asleep.

- While it appeared in most media that covered the Versus Momoshiki Arc, the bear did not appear initially in the anime's adaptation.
