By utilising Lightning Release, the user can speed up the signals that are sent from the brain to the muscles to increase the user's striking speed. The technique also gives the user cutting capabilities from barehanded attacks.

Using his Lightning Release Suit's Lightning Release generator, Denki can create electic pulses to stimulate all his body's muscles to greatly enhance his reflex speed, allowing him to use "Pseudo Lightning Release: Overdrive" (疑似雷遁・オーバードライブ, Giji Raiton: Ōbādoraibu).[1]
