Mazuma Izuno (伊豆野マズマ, Izuno Mazuma) is a member of Konohagakure's Izuno Clan and Wasabi's mother.
Personality[]
Mazuma is a very passionate woman, especially when doting over her daughter Wasabi. She has great confidence in her potential and is very open about it. At the same time, she can be a tad oblivious to Wasabi's goals and feelings, unintentionally putting much pressure on her.
Appearance[]
Mazuma is a fair-skinned, slender woman. She has blond, shoulder-length wavy hair that mostly flows free, with the top of it done up in a bun. She wears round, black glasses. Her overall attire is hippie-like, wearing a simple brown band around her forehead and a beaded necklace. She also wears a long, grey open robe with blue edges, a dark grey shirt, blue pants with a brown belt, and brown boots.
New Era[]
Chūnin Re-Examination Arc[]
Main article: Chūnin Re-Examination Arc Upon her daughter's advancement to the final round of the Chūnin Exams, Mazuma and her family celebrated her promotion despite the exams still not being over. The day of the finals, they checked on Wasabi before her match, voicing their confidence in her ability. During the match, she heard Wasabi express to Iwabee Yuino the weight of her family's expectations, and that she didn't have the goal of becoming Hokage, like her parents always wished for her. She covered Amagi's ears so she couldn't hear it. They were proud of her when she used their clan's jutsu to protect Iwabee.
