The Naruto Project (–NARUTO PROJECT–), also known short as Naru Pro (ナルプロ, Naru Puro), is a special project to celebrate 15 years of the Naruto series. It's also titled Naruto's New Era Opening Project (NARUTO‐ナルト‐新時代開幕プロジェクト, Naruto: Shinjidai Kaimaku Purojekuto). The first instalment of this project is the new Naruto movie, titled The Last: Naruto the Movie and also the spin-off book, which includes a manga-omake drawn exclusively for the movie. The new databook Jin no Sho is also part of the project, as well as a Naruto stage play that started in March 2015 and an art exhibition, which will open April 2015.[1]

A sequel mini-series in the spring of 2015, as well as the upcoming movie in August 2015[2] focusing on the next generation were confirmed. A series of Naruto epilogue novels featuring new illustrations by Masashi Kishimoto are being published by Shūeisha.[3]
