Naruto Shippūden the Movie: The Lost Tower (劇場版ＮＡＲＵＴＯ－ナルト－ 疾風伝 ザ・ロストタワー THE LOST TOWER, Gekijōban Naruto Shippūden: Za Rosuto Tawā) is the seventh overall Naruto film and the fourth Naruto Shippūden film. It will be released on July 31, 2010, with advance ticket sale events scheduled for April 17 and June 19. Its theme song is "if" by Kana Nishino.
Plot Overview
Assigned on a mission to capture Mukade, a missing-nin, Naruto Uzumaki sets out for the once glorious historic ruins of Rouran, where he pursues and corners the rogue ninja. Mukade's goal is revealed to be a dormant leyline within the ruins; he unleashes the power of the leyline, causing a light to envelop Naruto, sending him twenty years into the past. When Naruto awakens, he comes into contact with his father (the future Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze).
One trailer has shown that during this period, Minato was on a team with Shibi Aburame and Chōza Akimichi, seeking to intervene in the conflicts enveloping Roland, with its princess Sarah in the middle of the crisis. A young Kakashi Hatake is tagging along with them. Sakura Haruno and Sai also appear to be involved in assisting Naruto in his efforts within the movie.[1]
In the trailer, Naruto is seen wielding a wind chakra infused kunai and fighting unknown mechanical figures. Minato is also seen interfering in the fight, aiding Naruto. He seems to be well aware who Naruto is.
