"Naruto and Sasuke 3" (ナルトとサスケ③, Naruto to Sasuke 3) is chapter 696 of the original Naruto manga.
Summary
Remembering Sauske's words on two high class shinobi reading each others minds through fighting, Naruto tries to understand why Sasuke wants to follow through with his revolution. Which he explains that now that the danger has passed, the five villages will turn against each other again. They are soon sent back and recoil from their last clash. Sasuke chides Naruto again that he will not be able to kill him with his current effort, but Naruto rebuffs that he is not attempting to do so. Sasuke then summons the stone tombs he encased each of the Tailed Beasts in and begins channeling chakra from each one into his Susanoo. Proclaiming to be the strongest in the world, Sasuke's Sussano'o begins to change into a more humanoid form, while naruto creates three shadow clones of his Tailed Beast mode and the two brawl in the sky, Sasuke releases three lightning arrows which is quickly countured by Tailed Beast Balls, resulting in a massive explosion of energy. While Sasuke prepares to charge another arrow, Naruto fuses the two clones into a form similar to Ashura's while another clone gathered Natural Energy. With both combatants ready to fire, Naruto tells to himself that he always wanted to beat Sasuke in the past, but not the Sasuke that exists now, as Sasuke fires his arrow and Naruto fires two Rasenshuriken.
