I think it is time we put in a signature policy before we end up like some of the other wiki's with 6 images in user signatures, and custom templates for every user (why can't they just code it in preferences??). SimAnt 20:23, November 13, 2010 (UTC)

The most we could reasonably do is discourage signature templates and/or what goes into those templates. Since signature preferences are universal, whatever guidelines people must follow on this wiki would affect what they do on other wikis too. ~SnapperTo 20:45, November 13, 2010 (UTC)
I do not understand the problem you have with signatures, will I change mine?--Leodix Akatsuki Symbol Talk 20:52, November 13, 2010 (UTC)
in your preferences you should subst from a page such as User:Username/sig . I really don't like seeing a multiline template in a signature. SimAnt 21:22, November 13, 2010 (UTC)
I suppose one 16x16 image that is already on the wiki is fine. SimAnt 22:16, November 13, 2010 (UTC)
Although i hate sigs with long quotes or phrases which dont serve the function of a sig, or sigs with pics, if users change anything in their preferance, it'll effect their sigs Wiki wide. So if rules are been created, that should be kept in mind. ..AlienGamer (UserpageTalk) 23:26, November 13, 2010 (UTC)

Old Sections

Can we also include here about users answering old sections? --Ilnarutoanime -NejiLoverr- 20:23, December 24, 2011 (UTC)

I fully support that. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 21:01, December 24, 2011 (UTC)
Some old sections, like ones about suggestions to improve the wiki, do merit response. Some that become so blatantly obvious from new chapters however, do not. — SimAnt 22:09, December 24, 2011 (UTC)
Yeah, I was actually talking about those unnecessary issues. --Ilnarutoanime -NejiLoverr- 22:38, December 24, 2011 (UTC)
We should put here that admins or other users are allowed to remove user's post on a section created years ago. --Ilnarutoanime -NejiLoverr- 14:19, December 25, 2011 (UTC)

I noticed here that there were users who just do nothing here but post something that can't help improve the article such as posting speculations. How should those users be deal with? (talk) 09:36, May 18, 2012 (UTC)

We just tell them that this isn't a board to discuss the series. Unless they commit actual vandalism, there's no point nor reason to block them. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 12:03, May 18, 2012 (UTC)

See here. An item should be added to both Talkpage and Userpage policies about not to arbitrarily remove redlinks from other people's content. --Speysider Talk Page | My Image Uploads | Tabber Code | My Wiki | Channel 19:14, June 29, 2012 (UTC)

Or add a note to allow the editing of user/talk pages for maintenance tasks. Just clarify it at least. <.< — Urbancowgurl777 (talk) 16:38, June 30, 2012 (UTC)

Advertising via Talkpages

Every so often, I've noticed users trying to advertise their own sites or wikis to random editors. Most of the users they're targeting are most likely not interested in such things, so I'm proposing adding something about not to advertise your site to other editors on their talkpages. --Speysider Talk Page | My Image Uploads | Tabber Code | Channel 23:44, August 3, 2013 (UTC)
