[[es:Tormenta Eléctrica del Desierto]]
This jutsu was first seen during the second Naruto Movie to battle [[Ranke]]'s Plasma Ball technique. Thunder God of Sand is very similar to [[Sand Drizzle]] in that Gaara launches a large amount of sand in the sky to rain down on the opponent. However, the difference is that instead of this attack leading into [[Sand Binding Coffin]], the sand forms needles which stick into the ground. The needles open like little antenna and create an electrical charge that drained or otherwise neutralized [[Ranke]] of all of her electricity disabling her ability to block Gaara's attacks.
